Here i was again. Sitting in class, getting butterflies in my stomach. I quickly looked at my phone.. 15 minutes left i thought to myself. 15 minutes was all i had to prepare to see him.

As i was thinking about him, well more like daydreaming about him, i was quickly awoken by my phone vibrating. A Text message.

Pixie: “Hey meet us where we usally park k”

A grin slipped across my face.’He’s here’ i Thought to myself.

I whispered to my BFFL Hayley.

Me: “He’s hear”

Hayley: “haha he always is.”

Then i turned to a pretty close friend Crystal.

Me: “He’s Here”

Crystal looked at her phone and frowned.

Crystal: “He didn’t tell me..”

Me: “well pixie told me they are here”

Crystal: “Oh ok.. he never even texts me though, im ment to be his girlfriend”

Me: “yeh.. he’s like that though.. “

Crystal: “yeh i guess”

Then i turned back to my stuff on the desk. I gathered all of it together then waited not listening to the teacher rant on about some French stuff. I sat there with butterflies in my stomach, it always happened about 15 minutes before the end of school.

BBBRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG when the bell.

I rushed out quickly knowing it would take ages for people to get out of the way. I finally got to my locker and got my bag, pushed all my stuff in it and started trying to walk through the crowds of people.

I got down all my stairs then started walking to where he was picking me up.

He had a girlfriend, Crystal but i knew he didn’t even like her. He bagged her out all the time when she wasn’t around. Which i didn’t like because he was ment to be her boyfriend.

I walked outside the school gate and down the street a bit, past the phone box then saw him parked where he usally parked. He was sitting at the end of the bonnet of his BA Ford falcon.

When i looked up he was smiling. I walked accross the road to the car and gave him the usal hug which he was expecting.

Arnie: “so how was school?”

Me: “boring!”

Arnie: “haha i know thats why i don’t go”

Me: “mm... lucky”

Arnie: “ready?”

Me: “uhh i said i’d wait for Crystal”

Arnie rolled his eyes and made a frustraited sound. But what was i ment to do?

About 3-4 weeks prior,

Pixie, Arnie, Crystal and I were at the beach. Crystal had known Arnie for less than 2 days and the were already going out... they didn’t even know each other! But ever since then Arnie was always clinging onto me.

Anyway, it wasn’t just Crystal i was waiting for, it was my Best Friend Michelle she was like a sister to me. We had been through loads together and she knew everything about my fucked up family and she supported me heaps and i did the same for her.

I saw her Crystal and Steph walking towards us.

Me: “Hey, michelle are getting a ride with us?”

Michelle: “ um nah going to walk Steph home with Pixie and Crystal”

Me: “oh umm.. ok well i’ll meet you at your house?”

Michelle: “k “

Arnie: “can we go?”

Me: “uhhmm yeh”

I got in the front seat and we drove to my house which was across the road from michelles house. While i was going through my school bag Arnie got out of the car and walked around to my door and opened it for me. I looked up at him kinda dumbfounded like what was he doing? I can open a door by myself... im not disabled, then as i was getting out i grabbed my bag and he took it off me... so i went to get it back and he just walked inside, like he lived at my house.

I slowly started walking inside and my house door opened even befor i got to it. Arnie opened it.

I just glared at him.

He shut the door behind me and casually wrapped his arms around my waist as i was walking to the kitchen.

He walked out to the lounge room and had a D&M with my mum. I was so confused because usally he said hey to my mum and that was it but this was atleast a 20 minute convo.

My mum loved Arnie i swear she would adopt him!

But it wasn’t just my mum that loved Arnie, my brother also!

Anyway i walked past them and grabbed Arnies arm and walked over to michelles House.

I walked straight into Michelles house because it was like a second home to me.
