I started to wish none of this happened, If I stayed with George I  would never see my family or friends again and if I went with Travis I wouldn’t be with the guy I truly loved and if I didn’t go with Travis George would go to jail. I got up and walked around to the front of the shops.

 I saw Travis an George fighting. Travis ended up on the ground an George was on top still punching him. I looked around me to see if anyone was there, but nobody was around. All the shops were closed. I yelled at George to stop but he didn’t listen, he kept punching Travis. I didn’t know what to do. Travis wasn’t moving. I screamed at George again to stop and he still didn’t listen. I ran over to them and tried to pull George off Travis. After about 30 seconds of trying to pull him off, George finally got off him.

 I knelt down and checked Travis’s pulse. I couldn’t find one. George grabbed my are and started dragging me to his car. I didn’t want to leave Travis, I thought he was dead. George pushed me into the car and shut the door. I was freaking out, I mean George just killed my ex boyfriend.

We started driving back to the cottage. I sat there in silence really close to the door, for the first time I was scared of George. He kept looking over at me and I was staring at the same spot every time. I didn’t want to move, I didn’t want him to touch me. He had blood all over his hands and on his arms and on his white shirt.

We got to the cottage and he got out. I didn’t want to get out but I didn’t want him to touch me either so I got out before he had a chance to come to my door. He walked in front of me and opened the door for me.

“I’m going to go to sleep”

“Ok babe”

I walked into the bedroom and laid down. I couldn’t believe what George had done. He had killed Travis. That was so hard for me to comprehend that he actually did kill him. I didn’t know what my feelings towards George were anymore.... I was terrified but I still loved him. I fell off into a distant dream....

          When I woke up, I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. It was 5:07am. I looked around the room and George wasn’t there. I sat up and got a robe out of the draw and put it on and tied it up. I walked out into the living room. George wasn’t in there either, and then I walked into the kitchen, he wasn’t there either. Then I walked out the front door and saw him sitting on the front porch. Kind of slumped over, he looked really sad or angry I wasn’t sure which one. I stood there not knowing what to do. I was scared to go over to him but I also wanted to comfort him. It was a fight with my brain and my heart.
