“Just let me go josh, we are over”

“No we’re not, I love you and you love me”

“That’s just it, I don’t love you and I never have”

I tried walking past him again, but he grabbed my arm and threw me into the wall. I just stayed on the ground, I knew if I got back up he’d hit me again. I started to cry, this is what happened last time before he really hurt me. He squatted to my level.

“If you leave me, I’ll make sure you never have a relationship again”

I didn’t say anything to that because I knew it was true. I looked him in the eyes,

“I hate you”

He stood up and looked out the window that was on the wall. I stood up and kicked him in the nuts and pushed him over a bench then I ran for my life. I ran out the door and got out onto some grass just near that old oak tree. Marcus was nowhere to be seen, at that moment I felt a hand on my shoulder. I screamed and stumbled forward, as I turned around I felt to the ground. It was Marcus standing there. I got a feeling of relief. He looked at me confused then he held out his hand to help me up. I grabbed his hand and stood up. My ribs were really hurting. I looked around I didn’t know where to go...

“Are you iight?”

I didn’t know what to do, if josh saw me talking to Marcus he’d go crazy.

“Umm yea I’m ok”

“Are ya sure?”

“Uhh yea”

I saw josh coming out of the change room. I grabbed joshes arm and pulled him behind the oak tree.

“Wut cho doin?”

“Shhhhhh”

I watched josh look for me, he walked over to the squad an then he left.

“Sorry”

“Why were ya hidin from that fool josh?”

“Don’t worry about it”

“Na really why were you? Ya looked real scared”

“Its got nothing to do with you, just drop it please”

“Na, why don’t I just go ask him”

He started to walk away in the same direction that josh when. I grabbed his arm.

“I’ll tell you but please don’t tell anyone, ya promise?”

“Yea”

“Well I don’t like josh, I want to break up with him but he wont let me...”

“How can he stop ya from breakin up wit him?”

“By bashin me till I say I love him...”

“WUT?!?!”

“Look I got to go before he comes back”

He was to late, I started walking home. I got just outside the school when I realised I forgot my bag, it was back at the oak tree. I walked back to the tree and Marcus was still there, looking through my sketch pad. I freaked the only thing I drew in that pad were sketches of him...
