Jacob Shdea awoke to the scent of blueberrie perfume and the sound of the sea. 'Damn it' he thought. He opened a bottle of the finest seaweed wine and drank....he drank because it was Christmas....he drank because he had no family....he drank because he was sick and sad.

He walked along the cliff's edge...his sharp ship eyes glancing crystal to cut the ice. In the howling wind he thought he heard someone call out. The echoes were like music drowning in its own grace.  That was when he saw the velvet cloak....a ruby colour he couldn't resist pinned onto a rock. He walked closer to the edge and saw its owner cry out for it. 'Please help me' he said. Jacob took this to mean that the man wanted to be pushed after failing an attempt to wash himself away. So Jacob reached out and loosened his grip....and the stranger fell to his death.

The cloak however was still there and Jacob retrieved it and wore it as he walked back over the cliff. He felt quite proud to be wearing the cloak of the dead man. The velvet was kind to his skin and soft and warm. However he noticed the end of the cloak was getting dirty as it dragged along the ground. It made him feel tall yet it showed him to be really quite small. 'I shall enjoy the fruits this gown shall give me'.

However the more proud he became the more his chin rose high....and this had the effect of making him walk rather much faster than usual. That was when the cloak got caught on something and Jacob got pulled back thus falling over the cliff. Clinging for dear life and now without the cloak a shadow befell him. 'Please, help me' he said to a rather handsome looking fellow.

And the fellow gladly gave him his hand......
