The last of the flames disappeared and I soon realized that the man had escaped, along with vein. What did they want from me? Was it something I had that they wanted?I went home and told my parents what had just happened. They didn’t believe me. I tried telling my cousin too, she didn’t believe me either.The next day, it was break time at school; everyone was talking about what they were going to do during the weekend. So was I. Until I heard an enormous explosion coming from the kitchen. Pieces of metal and brick were flying all over the place, hitting people in the faces and stomachs. A few were killed. They were hit with big chunks of metal and brick straight to the skull. I thought a spark had caught a gas tank, until I heard something or someone go “BOOM!” and a missile type projectile launched itself at Chris! I immediately threw myself in front of the missile and took the blow for Chris. I was thrown back towards the metal fence, smashing through it and shattering the iron. Pain surged through me faster than the rocket had soared over the school complex. Then everything went white……
