I was an ordinary boy. I had an ordinary life. My friends were normal too. I had a great life. Now my life is just a mess. A mess that will never be cleaned up. This is my story of how my life went from excellent to horrible...It was the end of a normal school day; I was walking home with my two best friends, Thomas and Chris. We were talking about the football match we had seen the day before. Until Chris noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Something small and speedy. It dived behind a bush that was sitting on the edge of my neighbor’s garden. We carried on walking at a steady pace down the street. Suddenly, the tiny creature had jumped straight in front of us. Thomas and Chris ran in separate directions, both trying to take me with them. My arms were almost ripped out of their sockets!There it was, standing right in front of me. What was it that had just jumped out from behind the bush? I stood there in the middle of the street, terrified, unsure what to do. Should I run? Should I move in for a closer look? I was too curious to run. So I decided to move a little bit closer to the beast. But as I shuffled forward to get a better look at the miniscule creature, which seemed to have come from nowhere, to my surprise the creature, stepped forward too. I stopped dead in my tracks, so did the creature. I could see that the beast had black beady eyes, black as the night sky and teeth that could probably rip somebody's leg off. That was all I could see. But as I was struggling to see what the rest of the demon (what I have decided to now call it) looked like, it leaped forward, aiming for my head! I had to react quickly. But what could I have done? Stuck my arms over my head and hoped for the best? I don’t think so. So I did what was expected of me, I ducked out of the way. Wrong move……
