***Author's Note***Sorry it took so long to repost! I've decided to stop writing this story, in fact, I haven't written anything for quite a long time that had to do with this story. I have up to Chapter 12 done, and that's all that there will be of this story. I am, however writing a new story. I'm not sure if I will post it on here or not, but it is definitely on it's way. Have a nice day and I hope ya'll keep reading!

The door opened and Aria opened her eyes. She looked at the clock. 10:47 pm on Saturday. She blinked to see through the light and saw that Megan was being placed in her bed. Megan’s eyes were halfway opened. Aria stood up and walked toward the nurse that was trying to tuck Megan in.
“Is she alright?” Aria asked, worried.
“She’ll be fine,” the nurse with dark, short hair said, agitated. “Get some sleep and you will be too.”
“Well,” Said Aria, clearly not ready to go to sleep. “That doesn’t work for me. I need to talk to my best friend, when is she going to wake up?”
“Four to Six hours,” said the nurse. “So get into bed and don’t get up until she is.”
The nurse left and Aria looked at her best friend. Megan’s eyes were fully closed now, her gown was drenched in sweat and she was breathing normally through the air tubes. Megan had over five needles inside of her that Aria could see. Aria climbed into bed. The clock shone a bright 10:59. She would get six more hours of sleep, if she were lucky. Aria thought of all of the surgeries she’d had. None was as bad as Megan’s. Megan already got a new heart and still needed a lung transplant. Unfortunately, Megan was still toward the bottom of a very long transplant list. Aria’s eyes started to droop, her body went limp and Aria fell asleep.
Meanwhile, Carly was still in surgery while Ashley Johnson sat in the waiting room signing autographs for cancer patients. Just as she finished signing the last one, a surgeon came out of the room.
    “Ashley Johnson?” He said seriously.
“Yes?” Ashley was scared of what he might say.
“Your friend, Carly has suffered some internal bleeding; she’ll be pretty bruised for a while. She’ll have multiple large scars, but those can be reduced with plastic surgery. No brain damage occurred and she should be fine. We’ve got her on some medicine right now, but she keeps asking for you. She’ll be drowsy. She might try to get you to take off her stitches,” he sounded very serious. “Whatever you do, don’t touch her.”
“Thank you so much!” Ashley said, beaming. “Can I go in now?”
    “Go ahead,” the surgeon smiled.
The room was dark, but Ashley could still see. Carly was still on the bed. Her eyes were half closed and she was covered in heavy blankets and towels. Ashley went to her best friend’s side, bowed her head and started to pray…
