Big Love In a Small town part 6

Aria cried as the doctor explained to her that she had ALL. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It would take five years for her to be treated at Children’s Hospital and Aria hoped that she would live that long.
“How is it going Aria?” Jason asked, as Aria climbed back into the ambulance to go back to Her regular hospital.
“I have cancer…” Aria said, not believing the words coming out of her mouth. “I don’t think I’m going to make it.”
“Aw man, I’m so sorry.” Jason said sincerely. “How are you going to break it to the school?”
“I don’t know.” Aria said. “I get to go to one dance before I lose my hair. It’s tonight.”
“Well I hope you have fun.” Jason said happily. “I loved my school dances.”
We pulled into the hospital and I was able to go home. Her dress was a tiny bit looser on her than she remembered, but she pushed it aside. Her hair, make-up, shoes and dress were all set up perfectly in time for Josh to ring the door bell. Aria opened the door and smiled. Josh’s dark hair was combed back and his brilliant blue eyes seemed to glow in the dark. His tux was black with a tie the same red as her dress. He slipped a corsage onto her wrist and they climbed into the back of the white limousine.
“How are you my sweet?” Josh asked seductively.
“I have to talk to you.” Aria said, getting straight to the point. “I wasn’t at school the last week or so because I was in the hospital.”
“So it’s TRUE?” Josh asked. “You did get poisoned?”
“No…” Aria said, dreading the words that would soon escape her mouth. “I have cancer.”
Two things happened at once. Aria broke down crying and Josh looked as if he might faint. His skin was pale as can be. He hugged Aria gently while scanning her up and down. She did look a bit lighter than before. And her hair could’ve been a tiny bit thinner, but not by much at all. He noticed the bump under the right side of her chest.
“I’m sorry Aria…” Josh said slowly. “What did they do to your chest?”
“It’s a Portacath.” She said uneasily. “It makes it so chemo can get into my body.”
“Okay, well, we’re going to have as much fun as possible tonight. I promise, we’re going to forget all about it for at least 2 hours, but then we can talk about it.” Josh sighed. “Okay?”
“Sounds perfect.” Aria said and ever so slightly, her lips brushed against his. “Sorry…”
“I believe it’s more like this.” Josh said, kissing her with passion. His lips seemed to caress all of her problems away. As if some invisible force had taken her over. And then it was done. Like nothing happened and they pulled up to the high school.
“Ready?” He asked.
“I think so.” She answered.

aw. she has CANCER!?!?!?! this is sooooooo freakin depressing....but i LOVE it a LOT....!!!!!! and aw, josh is so cute...I CANT BELIEVE SHE HAS CANCER! =( love it though. keep me posted? |
