Chapter 11

Angel sat up slowly pulling Ann to her chest. Her body was limp in her arms:

 

" Ann" I whispered looking her over to see if she was hurt. But there wasn’t a mark on her. " Baby" I whispered once more kissing her forehead.

Closing my eye’s; memories felled my mind. " Ann" I sobbed opening my eyes only to glance at Jimmy. His face was blank; " Mom" her voice sounded low. Turning back to look at Ann only to see her eye’s open they weren’t the bright green they always were; but they looked muddy brown.

" Are you ok?" whipping my arms around her.

" Yea…" she whispered resting her head on my chest.

" Angel I need to tell you something" Jimmy’s voice sounded.

" What about?" turning to look at hem.

" Just come with me" his hand gripped mine. " Ann ill be right back" setting her down on the couch slowly.

" Just don’t forget about me" she whispered.

" That won’t happen" smiling at her alittle before Jimmy pulled me farther away.

" What is it?" I asked once Jimmy pulled me in to the bedroom.

" Its about Ann." He sighed griping my hand harder.

" What about her?" cocking my head to the side.

" She’s not human, baby" he whispered; his words made me laugh.

" What do you mean she’s not human?" still laughing.

" She’s just not human… I don’t know what she is!" his arms pulled me to hem.

" Are you sure your ok" setting my hand on his forehead.

" Im fine… im more worried about what the little girl is." He sighed removing my hand from his forehead.

" She is are new daughter that’s what she is" glaring up at hem.

" I now but im still worried" he answered fast. " She told me she was the daughter of the devil two days ago. She has been the one saving your life when I cant. And I want to find out the truth about why she is even here" his voice we serous.

" Are you sure your ok" looking at him like he was crazy.

" Im healthy as a horse" he replied.

" Mom" Ann’s voice sounded in the doorway. Looking pasted Jimmy’s shoulders only to see her standing there her head lowered.

" Is it true?" walking over to her slowly.

" Yes…" she sighed her eyes looking up to me.

" And?" bending down in front of her.

" And I am the devils daughter along with yours" her eyes sparkled at the words.

" What do you mean?" not under standing what she meant.

" Im Penny" she whispered.

" What…" taken back with her words.

" Im your daughter" she whispered walking closer to me; she placed her hand on my cheek her eyes moved to look behind me.

" I don’t under stand" pulling away from her. The feeling of Jimmy’s hand on my right shoulder.

" I was made to be your replacement daughter" she sighed, hugging me. Tears felled my eyes. Standing to my feet; I walked over to the bed. Ann hurried after me her hand gripping my shirt. Setting down only to be pulled down by her.

" Don’t hate me fore not telling you" she pleaded hugging on to my arm for dear life.

 

" I don’t hate you Ann ill never hate you" hugging her.

Looking to Jimmy only to see his eyes showing pain and misunderstanding.

" Jimmy" I whispered watching his eyes move to me.

" We are still a family" he pointed out. " One odd family" he cracked setting down beside me. Setting my head on his shoulder only to fall back on the bed; laughing to my self only to watch Ann jump on me. " Tickle" She screamed attacking my sides. " N…No tickling" trying to roll away.

" Kiss attack then" Jimmy laughed attacking both Ann and me.

" Ewe boy germs" Ann screamed grabbing a pillow and covering her face. Not being able to hold in my laughed any longer I let it out. Jimmy started clawing on me; setting on my lap his eyes looking down at me.

" Pillow fight" Ann screamed before I could see what was going on my pillow crashed in to Jimmy’s face. Covering my face with my arms knowing that I would be hit next.

" No pillow fighting" wiggling out from under Jimmy. Looking at both of them only to see disappointment.

" That pillow cost a lot," taking the pillow from Ann.

" Oh mom" Ann wined showing me her sad face.

" Buck up buck oh" poking her side alittle. Looking in to her eyes only to see them the same muddy brown.

" Are you feeling ok?" I asked setting down next to her.

" Im just tired" she yawned stretching alittle.

" Is that all" watching her closely.

" Yea" she whispered before clasping in to my lap.

" Ann!" Whipping her hair behind her ear.

" Let her sleep, she used some of her energy to get you back" Jimmy’s voice sounded followed by the feeling of his lips moving behind my right ear. Moaning alittle " Im going to put her in bed" not thinking about what he was wanting at the moment.

Laying Ann in her bed:

Moving my fingers along her little cheek bones; a long with pulling the blankets to her chin.

" Get some sleep tonight Ann." Kissing her forehead before turning the lights off and walking back to the bedroom.

Walking in only to see Jimmy lying there in his boxers:

 

" Im not in the mood tonight," walking to my dresser for a good change of clothing.

" Oh come on Angel I desire it" he wined jumping off the bed before standing beside me.

" Im not in the mood!" Glaring up at hem; his eyes searching for something in mine.

" Your thirsty aren’t you?" his words sounded funny to me.

" No im not thirsty… im just lost" turning away from hem.

"I mean what I say Angel im not leaving you or Ann" sighing at his words; closing my eyes.

" That’s not it" turning away.

" Then what’s the problem!" he screamed taking me off guard.

" I DON’T KNOW" I screamed back; slamming the back door in to his face. Looking down at my self; it was still raining and I didn’t have shoes or a coat. Sighing I walked to the front porch; setting down on the front swing. Kicking off alittle feeling bits of wind hit me once I did. Closing my eyes only to hear the front door open.

" Angel is that you?" Jimmy’s voice sounded from behind the screen door.

" No!" glaring at my feet. Arm’s wrapped around me taking the breath out of my lungs. Turning to look at who it was only to see Jimmy.

" Im sorry" he whispered.

" For what?" pulling away from hem.

" For yelling" he finished kissing me.

" Im used to it remember" resting my head on his shoulder.
