Chapter 10

Angel woke up slowly Jimmy laid beside her:

Running my arms over my head, the feeling of soft pillows and cold breath made my eyes open to see Jimmy sleeping next to me. " What happened" rubbing my eyes with the back of my hands. Setting up only to find my self-naked; pulling the sheets over my self. "All I remember is starting on the laundry" I whispered closing my eyes. Sounds of deep throat growling took me by surprised that and I was pulled down in to his arms.

" Where not done yet" Jimmy growled. Laughing alittle only to be taken back by the sound of my laughter. He rolled over on top of me; his eyes starring right into mine.

" I want to know something Angel…" his words sounded strange to me.

" What?" looking at hem; like he was someone new to me.

" Do you forgive me?" his head lowered to my collarbone his lips moved softly a crossed it.

" Do I have to answer that right away?" Moving his face to look at me; his eyes sadden alittle.

" Do you want me around?" he asked slowly, setting up. His chest espoused; moving my hand slowly up his chest.

" Why wouldn’t I want you around… You have helped me protect little Ann and my self." Setting up just to kiss his lips.

" So do you forgive me?" he asked once more after I pulled away.

" Yes" I cracked wrapping my arms around him. His face barred in to my hair at my words. " Ill prove my self to you… ill be..." cutting him by resting my finger on his lips. " Don’t promise anything" pulling my finger away only to kiss his lightly. His arms pulled me closer; the feeling of the bed hitting.

 

Out of no where the bedside phone rang:

Pulling out from under him not getting why the phone rang since it hasn’t for so long.

" Hello" I whispered on the other end only to hear some guy’s voice on the other side.

" Is Jimmy there?" their voice sounded cocky to me.

" May I ask who this is?" setting up slowly looking to Jimmy only to see his eyes looking for answered on my face.

" Its Adam" his voice sounded.

My mind searched for the name till it hit a never; the guy that broke in said they was sent by a guy named Adam. Handing the phone over at once; I hurried to get dress before heading out of the bedroom to check on Ann.

Running in to Ann’s bedroom only to see her setting in the corner playing with some horses that used to be Penny’s. Her face turned to look at me…

" What’s wrong Mom?" she asked getting to her feet fast.

" Nothing dear, I just need to check on you that’s all" wrapping my arms around her little frame. Picking her up I carried her in to my bedroom; Jimmy sat there his body stiff. Setting on the end of the bed rocking back and froth alittle only to hear Adam screaming on the other end from where I was setting.

" What’s going on?" Ann asked once more pulling out of my arms alittle.

" Nothing you need to worry about baby" kissing her forehead.

Her eyes moved to Jimmy who wasn’t moving excepted for his lips.

" Something wrong between you two?" her voice sounded.

" No… nothing is wrong between Jimmy and me." Trying my best to listen to the call.

But all I could get out of it was " get back here" and " Finnish what you started." Resting my head on Ann’s only to hear Jimmy’s voice for the first time the whole phone call. " Im staying here!" Smiling alittle once the sound of the phone hanging up; along with the feeling of his arms wrapping around Ann and me.

Turning to look at hem only to see his face blank.

Closing my eyes I couldn’t help but feel that he didn’t want to be here; and that he regretted something.

" Im taking a walk" I said out of no where. Picking Ann up and setting her beside me.

" Angel" Jimmy whispered watching me hurry out the door. Slipping my shoes on…along with grabbing my keys I hurried to my car.

" Mom" Ann’s little voice sounded behind me. Turning only to see her face looking hurt and puzzled.

" Do you want to come with?" I asked. Watching her nod, which was followed with her running to my side door. Jumping in knowing that Jimmy needed to think; and that I needed to forget everything.

" What’s wrong" Ann whispered setting her hand on mine.

" Its not me Ann it’s Jimmy… he’ll be leaving soon" my voice cracking at the words. Before we even got out of the drive I had to stop; putting the car in park… only to rest my head on the stilling wheel; my eyes blinded my tears.

" He won’t leave mom… he promised me… I even tested hem. Mom his not going to leave." The sound of glass braking along with the smell of blood; Closing my eyes only to hear little Ann screaming my name. Before I knew what happened pain shot though my chest.

Either it was my heart breaking or I was shot. My body slid down; my face resting on the doorframe.

Ann sat there starring at a guy in nothing but black their hair sticking up every where:

" Mom" I pleaded shacking her alittle only to feel her skin was burning. " MOM" tear’s rolled down my cheeks crashing down on my blue dress. Turning to look to the guy only to see hem standing out side Angel’s door a large smile moved across his lips.

" Jimmy" I screamed pushing the door button to lock it. Watching the guy pull on the door tell I thought it would fall of its hinges.

Closing my eyes; I felt pain hit me moving my hand over the bleeding spot on Angels chest. Girding my teeth once the pain really kicked in. Even though I had the power to save someone’s life it took some of mine to save the one that was dyeing. My father always told me if it was for a good reason; that I should use it even if it mint dyeing to save them.

Sounds of body crashing out side made me pull away.

Looking out side only to see Jimmy kicking the guy around like he was some kind of toy. Looking back at Angel only to see she stopped bleeding.

" Why isn’t waking?" I whispered, setting my hands on her heart once more; trying to heal her. Before I knew what was going on the driver’s side door was pulled off. My eyes looked up only to see Jimmy his face looking to me then to Angel.

" I tried everything" I whispered dropping my heads in my lap. Jimmy picked her up along with taking my hand pulling me out of the car. Hurrying to keep from falling; he headed in side.

Watching Jimmy lay her down on the couch his face full of pain. " Fix her" he screamed pointing to Angel. " I tried" tears formed in my eyes.

" Try harder" he screamed falling to his knees. Closing my eyes I did what I was told; sounds of couching made me pull away. Looking at Angel the best I could only to see her eyes blinking. Sighing I felt my knees cave; arms wrapped around me pulling me up word. I looked around only to feel Angel kissing my forehead; along with Jimmy hugging both of us.

" What happed" she whispered her breath tickled my cheek.

" Ann saved your butt that’s what happened" Jimmy stated kissing my forehead. Smiling my body went weak…
