Chapter 7

 

 

Jimmy just looked down at Ann who looked worry:

"Is she ok?" Ann asked, looking at Angel.

" Yea she’s just sleeping" laying Angel down on the bed.

 

Ann looked around the room. " I have a question" she whispered making me look at her.

" What is that?" lifting up the covers over Angel.

" Why are you staying here?" Her question bugged me.

Turning to look at the 8-year-old only to see she had an eyebrow raised.

" I don’t know" I answered her words echoing through my mind. Sighing I walked out of the room only to hear Ann following me. Glancing around only to see the cake mix still in the bowl.

Finishing… I turned the oven on and place the cake in side. Turning away, only to see Ann still starring at me.

" I don’t know why she wants you here," growing alittle I tried to block out her words.

" I mean… you did kill your own daughter." That hit hard. Turning to look at her right in the eyes.

" I didn’t mean to kill are own daughter I was a new vampyre… And I didn’t have control of anything. Know if I was you little girl shut up" glaring at her only to see a smirk on her face.

 

" If I tell Angel you told me that she will kick you out!" Her smirk growing.

" Stop trying to stir shit" I hissed walking in to the living room.

" Why is it your job!" She mocked an evil smile on her face.

Sighing I turned the TV on.

30 minutes of quite

" I don’t like you" she screamed over the TV. Looking back at her….

" Im not in the mood for this" standing up…

" Then what are you in the mood for" her eyes glaring at me.

" You are to young to under stand." Flexing my right hand.

" Whatever" she hissed standing up and walking in to the kitchen. I don’t see what Angel sees in that girl, She can’t be human but then neither im I.

" Cakes done" Ann called back her voice sounding like a little kid. Only I knew better she was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

" Then pull it out" turning the TV off. Standing to my feet only to see her eyes where black once more.

" What the hell are you?" I hissed studying Ann.

" The daughter of the devil" she whispered her eyes looking back to me.

" Ha that’s funny," laughing under my breath.

" I wouldn’t do that" she hissed her eyes a back abyss.

" If you are his daughter… then why are you here?" raising an eyebrow.

" He wants Angel… to me my mother… he wants me to be like her!" her words didn’t make any since to me.

" What do you mean he want’s her to be your mother?" glaring at the little girl.

" He wants her to raise me… Not you!" her fist hit the tabletop.

" Know listen here devils little girl or who ever you are… Im staying there with Angel as long as she wants me here. Do you under stand?" bending down to her level only to see her face change.

" Good" she whispered turning away from me.

" What do you mean by that?" Looking at her.

" That means you won’t leave us" she turned to look at me once more.

" What do you mean by us." Looking at her oddly.

" Im staying here tell im able to leave… I need a father figure and a mother…" her eyes looked right in to mine.

Looking away from her… setting my right hand on my forehead.

" So that was a fucking test!" scratching me forehead.

" You won a million dollars" Ann laughed, making me look at her oddly.

" Your missed up kid" walking out of the room only to go in to the bed room to check on Angel.

Angel laid there rolling around like she was fighting off what ever held her down. " What did I do to her?" I whispered only to feel little arms wrap around my right leg.

" You betrayed her" Ann whispered griping my hand.

" I know that… I want this to be over, I want her to see me the same way."

" Well I can’t help everything" she giggled letting go of my hand. Turning to Ann only to see her skipping out of the room.

Sighing I couldn’t help but think about my brother and why he came here tonight. He’s the one that changed me 16 years ago when we was going on a fishing trip. He told me I couldn’t go back to my wife that it was for the best. But I couldn’t live with out my family…

That’s why I lived at the hotel… it where most of are kind hangs out and lives life wildly. The day I fault my human self-wanting to go home; was the day I killed Penny. My mind flashed to the day:

" Oh my god" Angel screamed running to me. Her blood rushed though her body her heart skipping a bet. Smiling I hugged her… " Where have you been?" she cried her tears dropping on my shirt collar.

" Drake had me do some things" feeling little arms wrap around my leg. Looking down to see Penny her brown hair pulled up in to a ponytail.

" Hey Baby!" Moving my hand to set on the top of her head.

Angel’s hand dropped to her sides. Looking at her face only to see fear. " Angel" I whispered not under standing her jester.

" Your not Jimmy…your not my husband" her words made me mad. Before I new what happened next… The smell of death hit me. Looking around the living room only to see Penny laying dead and Angel tied to the kitchen table her eyes looking up at me terrified.

" Angel" I whispered looking down at my hands only to see blood on them.

" How could you… you monster!" she screamed hatred in her eyes. Anger hit me once more. " You will be with me either way" I hissed biting down on her neck. Before I knew what I did she was dead. Remembering what Drake did I bite my wrist lowering it down to her mouth.

" What the hell" Drakes voice sounded me hind me. Pulling my wrist away at his words; only to see sorrow on his face. " I didn’t mean to" tears forming in my eyes. " This is why I told you not to come home" his words stung. " You just killed everyone you loved" his words fault like whip lashes.

Snapping out of my past:

My eyes looked around only to see Angel setting up her eyes looking right at me. Like she was reading my mind or something; " how could you do that?" she whispered.

" Do what?" looking at her puzzled.

" Kill Penny" her words; told me she was in my head.

" I didn’t mean to… Drake told me not to come home; but I had to" walking over to her just to set down next to her.

" I don’t under stand" she whispered her eyes tearing up alittle.

" Because you two mint so much to me. It killed me to stay away!" wrapping my arms around her; her head resting on my chest. " I was a new vampyre, you should know how hard it was to control it." Her arms wrapped around me pulling me closer to her. Kissing Angel’s forehead….

" Cake!" Ann chanted once she ran in to the room. Pulling away from Angle alittle to see Ann flopping on to the bed.

" Come here" Angel called to Ann. Watching Ann climb over to us her eyes looking to the both of us.

" Everything good between the both of you?" looking down at her a small smile on my face.

" Yes" pulling both of them to me. Laughter sounded from the both of them. I couldn’t help but wish this moment didn’t end.
