Chapter 6

Angel laid there her mind going though the same nightmare over and over like a play… a really bad play:

Walking up in a flash knowing that I need to walk it out. Trying my best to get up only to feel arms holding me down. " Ann… I need to go for a walk" turning to look at her only to see Jimmy. His face looked worried like he had feelings or something. Prying his arms away only to be grabbed by hem again.

" You cant go with out me" sighing at his stupidly. "Who said you could sleep in here?" Ripping his arms away once more.

Getting off the bed only to see A shadow flash passed the window. " Jimmy" I whispered starring wide eyed out side.

" What’s wrong" he asked… " Theirs some one out side the house." Hurrying I ran out of the bedroom to where Ann probably was. " Ann come here" I called once I noticed her awake her eyes wide with fear.

" Theirs a man out side… he knows my name" covering my mouth at her words. " Come here" waving my arms for her to come. Once her face brayed in to my tank top… I picked her up, her arms rapped around my neck.

" Jimmy" running back to the bedroom only to see hem standing there his back was turned away from the door but once I got closer to see Jimmy was holding a man by his neck up to the wall.

" Get Ann out of the room" Jimmy hissed turning to me.

Doing what he said only to hear screaming from inside the bedroom.

" Angel what’s going on?" Ann whispered.

" Nothing dear just cover your ears." Helping her do so.

" WHO SENT YOU" Jimmy’s screams echoed around the house.

Closing my eyes only to hear one name " Adam sent me for the girl… he thought you would just hand her over since… we killed your wife and all"

" You’re not having the little girl… and my wife isn’t dead" he hissed, loud enough I could still hear.

" Ok Ill tell hem that"

" You wont even live to tell hem" Jimmy screeched the sound of the intruder screaming in pain… closing my eyes only to hear Jimmy’s foot steps.

" Its taken care of; you can come back to bed know" nodding I was grateful he was back… yet pissed because he never acted that way for Penny. Looking down at Ann to see her fast asleep. Lifting her up I carried her in to my bedroom. " You kneed to clean that later." Looking to Jimmy only to see something odd about hem either he was thinking or something. Setting my hand on his shoulder… " Thank you," patting his back only to see a smile move across his face.

Laying her down in the middle of the bed. Jimmy climbed in on one side and me on the other. Wrapping my arms around Ann… looking to Jimmy who was starring right back at me. I couldn’t help but feel safer with hem around.

Hours went past my mind was racing… tossing the blanket off me only to feel Ann turn away. Smiling alittle I walked out of the room; it was around six in the morning. Poring my self a glass of blood; I hide way back behind everything.

Taking a breath slowly; the sun shined in to the room reflecting off the walls and table. Sticking my hand over it just to see my hands shadow. " I need to get cookies" I whispered drinking the last bit of blood…slipping my shoes on. I wasn’t afraid of the sun it doesn’t burn me like most, That’s the only reason my yard looks nice out side... The bad thing about it; It drains me.

Grabbing my purse and keys for my car which sat in the carport. Walking out the front door only to see the Peterson’s heading to work; their children jumping in the mine van. Waving at them only to say hi; I turned to my on car which wasn’t much it was a black firebird; starting it up and pulling out. Driving seven blocks tell I came to the store; Parking on the other side… walking in I couldn’t help but look down every lane. My hands gripped the metal of the cart; pushing it down one lane.

All the food looked welcoming… but the one thing that stuck out was chocolate cake, setting the box in the child’s set; Repeating the same thing with the icing. Walking down a little more to running in to the cookie area. My eyes wondered each kind trying to spot something I would eat along with Ann. Pulling out chocolate chip and snicker doodles; going to the freezer area only to pull out three in one ice cream. My hands gripped the milk lowering it down in the cart only to feel like someone was watching me. Glancing around only to see a man with a black coat on. Which made me think why would he have a coat on if it’s 75-degree’s out; sighing I pushed it out of my mind.

" Total is 35.67" pulling out my money before wrapping my fingers around the three bags and milk.

" Its nice to see you back in town Mis. Conner."

" Ive been around… ive been busy" nodding to hem before walking out. Tossing everything in my passenger set.

Pulling in to the car port:

Gripping the bags once more before closing the car door. Hurrying in side only to hear someone’s throat clearing. My eyes looking around to see Jimmy standing there his eyes looking to me like he was seeing things.

" I needed to get cookies." Setting everything out on the table.

" So you went out side in the day light?"

" Im able to aren’t you?" I small smile on my face knowing that he couldn’t.

" No but I don’t under stand how you can." His words where wondering off alittle.

" I have been" opening the cookie jar setting the cookies I just bot in side. Tossing everything in to the trash before sticking the ice cream in the freezer; and sticking the milk in the fridge. Turning only to run right in to Jimmy’s chest… Looking up at hem to see the cake box in his hand.

" What I thought it looked good," taking it from hem.

" That’s my favorite cake… you used to make it for me when you had good news to tell me or it was my birthday… why did you get it?" his eyes looked right in to mine.

" Because I haven’t had it for 15 years; knowing I was the only one that was going to eat it… I don’t want to get fat," taking it from hem.

Walking in to the bedroom only to check on Ann to see her lost in blankets. Wanting to laugh, knowing if I did she would wake up. Hurrying I ran out of the room before I lost control of my laughter.

Looking around the room my hand over my mouth to see Jimmy with the cake mix he had a bowl next to hem followed by what the box said it needed.

" You never could wait." Setting at the table only to watch hem mix everything.

" Well I haven’t had it for so long" he whispered his eyes glancing to me.

" Not my fault is it" getting up fast knowing what he meant by that.

 

God he’s such an ass. Lying down on the couch only to hear loud knocking coming from the door. Jumping at the sound only to watch Jimmy walk to the door his eyes looking to me for answered. He opened the door slowly; my eyes went wide at the site of the same guy with the coat over hem self. Jimmy just stood there his eyes the same as mine.

" Who are you?" Jimmy asked. Standing up only to walk behind Jimmy.

" Oh come on" the guy hissed taking his hood off only to see dark brown hair laying all over his head; his red eyes looking right at me. Backing up when Jimmy moved in front of me; sounds of deep-throated growls made me back away feather.

" So she didn’t die?" the guy laughed pushing Jimmy with one hand; to my shock Jimmy went flying on to the couch his eyes flashing red.

The man inched closer to me…with every step back I took. Looking to Jimmy only to see he was being held back with some sort of invisible wall. My back hit wall… " So beautiful yet so deadly" his hand touched my cheek; with one fast movement he hit floor… my eyes glaring down at hem.

" Jimmy you got such a playful pet" the guy laughed getting to his feet. With one fast movement I was thrown in to the fireplace. My eyes started to blur over; " No you don’t the fun isn’t over" the guy laughed, sharp pain shot through me. Glaring at the man. Not being able to move… the feeling of his lips moving along my neck.

" Stop, Drake" Jimmy screamed, my eyes looked to hem. Jimmy ran at the invisible wall but this time he went through it his body hit the so-called guy. He dropped me fast his lips covered in my blood. Getting to my feet fast only to see Ann standing in the doorway. Hurrying past the two guys rolling around the floor…

" Angel" she whispered once I wrapped my arms around her. " Your neck" she added pointing to it. " Don’t worry im one of them already." kissing her forehead.

Running back in to the bedroom… and slamming the door behind me.

30 minutes passed:

The bedroom door opened, looking to it only to see Jimmy; dried blood along his face.

" Are you ok?" was the only thing he asked closing the door; he walked over before pulling Ann and me to hem.

" Im fine… you changed me years ago remember" rubbing my neck where the guy bit me.

The feeling of his lips resting on my forehead. Looking up at hem to see he was worrying about something… pulling Ann closer to me she had a large smile on her little face.

" Im tired" I whispered feeling my self fall asleep in Jimmy’s arms.
