Chapter 23

Ronda held Page’s baby to her only to feel the baby in side her kick:

Moving my hand to my stomach, then looking down at the one in my hands. Sighing only to taste blood… " Here" handing her back to Page.

" Well everyone…Page needs some rest." I small little voice sounded.

Turning my head the best I could only to taste more blood. " Are you ok miss?" the little voice sounded once more.

" I don’t know" coughing only to taste the same thing… blood.

" Oh god" April cried. Whipping my mouth only to see it on my hands.

The little woman walked over she tried to removed my bandage… trying my best to keep it on only to fail. " Oh god!" she screamed dropping it. She hurried to the intercom; which was across the room. " Doctor Pat report to room 49… Doctor Pat room 49."

Looking to Matt only to see guilt on his face… his eyes looked to the floor. A wheel chair was pulled in to the room. " Set down" the woman ordered. Doing so only to be taken out of the room.

" What did this to you?" she asked pushing me in to an elevator.

" I was attacked in the woods behind are house last night." Watching the doors close.

" By… what a wolf?" her words new the answer even though I couldn’t tell her anything. We pulled out of the elevator right though the halls she was running for some reason. Slowly my world started to go fuzzy.

Matt stud there looking to Page then his mother:

" What did you do to her?" mother hissed… " I know your bite marks and that had your name all over it" lowering my head.

" Ronda’s mom was at the house… I thought they where after her so I changed only once I kicked the door open they where hugging. All I wanted was for Ronda to stay with me… I was thinking she was going to take her away. So I attacked… Ronda some how jumped in front of her mother taking the blow."

" You broke the packs laws" my mother hissed looking away from me.

" I thought they where hurting her!" I screamed only to see the doctor pop his head in.

" I was called here?" his eyes looking around.

" The nurse that called you ran with my wife down the hall" I answered only to see hem wave his hands for me to follow.

Doing so only to hear Page hiss something to my mother. Sighing I hurried after hem… the sound of the intercom calling the same Doctor but this time to the emergency room. Worry hit me hard… the sound of hills hitting the floor behind us made me turn to see my mother running after us.

The Doctor turned in to an elevator… standing beside hem; his eyes looking to my mother. " Are you family?" he asked looking to me then my mother. " My mother" I answered.

When the elevator came to the stop, we followed the doctor to the so-called room. " Im sorry but I have to ask you both to stay behind the glass." Looking thought the door only to get a gleams of Ronda. Running to the glass window to see Ronda laid out on a table with about six or seven surgeons.

" She’s going to die" my mother whispered her hand on my shoulder.

" No she wont white wolves cant die easily" glancing at her then to Ronda.

" That’s only a myth… why it was because we protected them like mad" looking to her only to feel my heart being crushed.

Not being able to look though the glass any longer I headed to the chairs across the hall.
