Rain isn't always clear 22

Ronda woke up to the phone ringing:

Moving only to feel sharp pain. The night had been ruff not being able to sleep on my right side. Picking up the phone:

" Hello"

" Oh good your ok" My mothers voice sounded on the other end.

" Im sorry about Matt mom" moving my hand to my neck.

" Its ok he seams like a nice boy… I mean you do have a nice house" I smiled at her words.

" How did you get this number?" setting up slowly.

" I have my ways" she laughed on the other end.

" Well mom I have to go" slamming the phone down… not getting how she got the number. Sighing I got to my feet, walking to the door only to hear the down stairs TV on. Griping the railing I slowly walked down to see Matt sleep on the couch.

" Matt… come to bed" only to see him jump at my voice. His eyes looked around the living room. Once I was on the last step " please" his eyes met mine.

" Ronda" his face seemed relived. Smiling alittle… " Matt I want to know what got in to you?" walking to the couch.

" I saw your moms car out side and I though for the worst." Smiling alittle at his words. " At lest you did because she called…a minute ago." His face changed to anger.

" How did she get the number?"

" I don’t know… I was asking my self the same thing," Smiling alittle.

The phone rang once more looking to the clock only to see it was 2:26 in the morning Matt picked it up this time:

" Hello"

" Yes…. Oh great we will be back there soon mom." Watching hem hang it up.

" So" looking at his face.

" Page had her baby" a small smile on his face.

" Really… can I go" looking down at my self only to see I was in pj’s.

" I don’t think you kneed to be out of the house right know." His words hurt alittle but he was right it killed me just to walk down stairs.

" But I wont to go" giving hem my little puppy dog face.

" Fine… ill help you get dressed" smiling he helped me up. Walking up the stairs….

Once I was dressed we jumped in Pages car:

" Know did she say what it was?" looking to hem.

" No she just told me get are butts down there." Sighing knowing that was April all right.

We pulled in to the hospital parking lot… Walking in side only to see only two people setting in the weighting room.

" Page Woods room" Matt asked while I was looking around.

" Is she ok?" the nurse asked looking to me.

" Yea im fine," looking to her then back to Matt.

" Miss. Woods in room 49"

" Thank you" I answered smiling at her. Walking with Matt looking at the room numbers. Once we got there April was in tears.

" What’s going on?" I asked pushing the door open.

" Page what’s going on?" walking over to her.

" I had twins" she whispered tears in her eyes.

" That’s good news isn’t it?" only to see more tears.

" One of them died… some how the cord was wrapped around the others neck when it came out…. And they tried to save it only it failed." Tears formed in my eyes at the words. Walking closer to her taking her hand… in to mine. " How about the one that lived?" only to see a small smile move across her face. " It’s a little girl." "She has the same hair as her father… if only he was around to see her" smiling only to feel pain wipe though me from my neck.

" Chris… what happened" she whispered…rubbing my neck only to see blood on my hands.

" Its nothing!" Smiling alittle only to see her starring at my hand.

" Did Matt…" she was cut off by the door opening… looking over to see April holding the baby it was in a green blanket. Matt followed her his eyes looking to me they went wide… knowing he probably heard the news about the other baby or noticed I was bleeding though again.
