      "I love you, my Madi Lou," Shawn softly whispered in Madi's ear as they made their way through the crowd at the local teen club, Holz. "I love you too babe," Madi replied. "Let's dance!" Shawn exclaimed. He took Madi's hand and pulled her out to the dance floor. I Feel You, by 3 Doors Down starts to play and Shawn pulls Madi closer as he wraps his arms around her. "It's our song, Madi Lou." Shawn says, as he starts to sing. "Those little things you say, when words mean so much. You never back down. When they all shy away, you always listen to me." As Shawn's lips touch hers, Madi closes her eyes. She suddenly feels alone. When she opens her eyes, she sees Shawn floating away from her. "Shawn!" she exclaims as she starts to run after him. She runs through the doors and onto the street, where she falls to her knees. Shawn is no where to be seen. She feels the tears fall down her soft cheeks as she shivers from the cold.

     "Wake up Madi!" Kara exclaims as she shakes Madi to wake her up. "I saw him again Kara." "I know hun, I heard you screaming his name again." Kara tells Madi. "Come on, we need to get ready. We have a long drive to the university to make." Kara says, trying to change the subject. Madi has these dreams often, and Kara never knows what to say to her anymore. "She just needs to meet someone new," Kara thinks to herself as she goes to the closet. "Does this look good together?" she asks, holding up a pink tank and a black mini skirt. "Yeah, if you want all the guys staring at your ass," Madi replies. "Perfect. I'll wear it then." "You know Madi," Kara says, pleased to have changed the subject from Shawn, "You should keep your eyes open today. They are plenty of good looking guys at the university." "I'm going to brush my teeth now," Madi says avoiding the topic of guys, as she walks towards the bathroom.
