She stumbles into her room and collapses on her bad. She grabs her head, and attempts to get up and stumble into the bathroom to find something to soothe the pain she is feeling. Her heads hurts from too much to drink, but it is really her heart that aches more. She let herself get hurt again. But this time wasnt like the last time. It was worse. She wont get over this one.
They met 3 months ago at a party she had went to with some girlfriends. She hadnt even wanted to go, but her friends insisted that she go meet this new guy. So she went. She didnt think that she had anything to lose. The moment that she looked into his eyes she felt her whole heart go out to him. His eyes were such a deep blue and she felt as if she could get lost in them. They talked the whole night and as the time got closer for her to leave, he asked for her number.
They were constantly together over the next couple of weeks. Time flew by so fast that before she knew it, a month had went by. Things were going great and she felt that she had finally met a nice guy. By the second month, she knew something was wrong, but she didnt want to admit it. He had seemed to grow distant and not seem as interested in her as he had when they had first got together. She started to worry, for she had seen this before.
This morning she had awoken to the phone ringing. But by the time she had got to it, he had hung up. She quickly grabbed the phone and called him back. Im in love with someone else, he said. I have been seeing her for the past month and a half. Im sorry. As she heard him say these words her eyes filled with tears. Fuck you, she screamed, as she slammed down the phone.
She threw herself on her bed and cried until she felt she could cry no more. She had loved him so much and trusted in him, yet he had still broken her heart. She had thought he was different, but as she frantically tore every picture she had of him she screamed, Youre just like the rest!
She had called up some friends and they all went out to a party later that night. She drank until she passed out and had to be carried to the car.
Now as she stands in front of her bathroom mirror, she holds a knife in her hand. Tears are running down her face as she starts to cut into her skin. As the blood starts to drip down her wrist into the sink, she softly whispers, I cant take this pain anymore. I cant be hurt again.
