William ran and ran as fast as he could as long as he got away from his stepmother who was chasing after him. The only reason he wanted to run from her is because of how she treated him. She treated him like a slave and gave him nothing to eat but a slice of breadin the morning and at night. William ran into the forest because he knew that his stepmother would never run after him in there. Soon he knew that his stepmother stopped running after him so he started walking untill he came to a cave. He walked in not even the slightest bit scared on what kind of animal could be living in there. Instead to his surprise no animal lived there. It had crystals hanging for the walls with rugs on the floor a shelf full of books a telescope in the corner of the room and many other things.

"Well however lives here probably wouldn't mind if I stayed thenight" William said to himself.

A month passed by but whoever had lived in that cave never came back. Every morning William went into the village looking for a job but no luck at all for him.

"Well might as well spend some time looking at the stars since I have nothing to do" William thought

He quickly took out the telescope in the corner which had more dust on it than before and he quickly wiped it off. He set up the telescope right outside the cave and looked through it. He looked up at the night sky and than something caught his attention. A girl sitting outside on the porch. He quickly realized that she was a princess because she was in a castle and wearing a simple tiara. She had black straight hair and she wore a simple dress nothing like most royals wear which is what William adored the most about her. He knew it was not right to be spying but he couldn't help it she was just so beautiful. Everyday he would watch her from the telescope. Than one day William decided to just talk to her. Quickly he walked into the cave to his bird Carrie out of her cage. he took out some paper and and ink and a quill and wrote

Hello my name is William what's your name?

William quickly attached it to Carrie's leg and commanded her to fly across the river and give it to the girl on the porch. Carrie flew to go give to to her. As soon as he let go off Carrie he regreted his decision.

"William what were you thinking she would think your a freak" William thought

He quickly looked into the telescope and so her expression. She smiled and actually replied. Carrie came back with her reply and William quickly took it off Carries leg.

My name is Princess Anabella. Nice to meet you william.
