“What’s your names?” I asked the boys.

“My name is Scott and this is Aidan.” the other boy said.

“What’s your power?” Lorraine asked sweetly to Aidan the tallest.

“How do you that we have powers?” Aidan asked nervously.

“Valerie told me.” she said with a large smirk on her face.

“But you didn’t say anything.” Scott turned to me and nodded, he some how knew.

“I have the power of mind communication and control. How did you know that I was Valerie?” I asked because I somehow knew too.

“We share the same powers.” he said while he kicked a rock at Aidan.

“My power is strength.” Aidan turned to Luna and kicked a rock over to the other side of the street.

“Mine is invisibility.” Stefan said as he put his hand on Lorraine’s shoulder.

“My name is Lorraine.” she said nervously.

“What is your power?” Aidan asked.

“Don’t have one.” she coughed.

“Oh, well wait what is yours?” he looked at Luna.

“Fire breath” she said.

“Lorraine, did you live in America before?” Aidan asked her.

“Yes, why? Oh my gosh! Aidan Burke?” she said excitedly.

“Yeah, Amy Baxter?” he said with a big smile on his face.

“Yes! Oh my gosh, I haven’t seen you in years!” she said and they hugged.

“I thought your name was Lorraine.” he said with a hint of jealousy.

“It is, but it used to be Amy until I changed it.” she said flirting with Stefan so he wouldn’t be mad at her.

Lorraine was old friends with Aidan and they talked a lot. Scott talked to every body. Aidan had a sword, it wasn’t as big and beautiful as Stefan’s and Scott had a bow and arrow almost identical as mine except mine was guided by magic. The guys told us that we where in Brosht a country that only immortals can get into.

Brosht was controlled by a heartless prince who was known as the dark prince because he was a warlock vampire. His mother was a vampire and his father was a warlock. The prince’s power was increased so much from the birth that he put a curse on anyone he pleased, immortal or human. The prince because of his cross blood he could go out in the day, but not the night. He never slept, but neither did we for the curse caused us to be able to stay awake forever. At sunrise the prince was at his strongest point, but at sunset he becomes week and must remain in the castle. He hated his weakness that came with his power so when he cast the curse on the people and made them immortal he gave them a power and gave them a terrible weakness. My weakness is water. I cannot swim anymore and I never will until the curse is broken. Luna’s weakness is she has a difficult time flying because the oxygen is so thin up there and she needs extra because of her fire breath and Stefan’s weakness is when he becomes invisible he sometimes can’t come out. Scott’s weakness is death, when he comes around a spirit or grave yard he falls to the ground. Aidan’s weakness is the fire. . Lorraine‘s weakness is being easily.

Luna and Stefan where suspicious when the guys came and I can honestly say that they did not want them with us. My power gives me the ability to read minds and tell when someone is lying and they are who they said they are. Luna asked me which one I liked the most, at first I pointed towards Aidan, but he was to obsessed with himself. Scott was more like me, he was funny and we shared the same power and he was more protective over me. I hesitated telling Luna who it was, but before I could she told me that she knew that it was both, I nodded nervously and she told me they liked me. I asked how she knew, she said that it was just obvious that they did. I smiled and we talked about it for a while.

They made me smile so much that at the end of each day my mouth would hurt. When I was cursed, I stopped smiling and laughing, but there was something about the guys that always made me never want to stop smiling.

My power still hadn’t come yet, and it made me mad. Aidan told me that it would come soon because I was always one of the last ones to do something. We new each other a few years ago and it was weird seeing him again. Stefan was so jealous, but he didn’t need to be because we where just old friends.

I decided that it was time to get my power so I called the two people that I knew could help me, Valerie Di Angelo and Scott Valin. They shared the same powers and if they work together maybe they could help.

“Val, Scott, could you guys help me.” I asked sweetly.

“Yeah, if you give me a kiss.” he said joking.

“Sure we will,” Valerie said elbowing Scott in the stomach, “ first we’ll need two idiots that we can bounce the negative energy off of.”

“Yes, we have two town fools Ryder and Lloyd!” Aidan said.

We walked over to a small Tudor cottage. Ryder and Lloyd where to brothers who lived near the tavern where we stayed. The were having another sword fight they always did this. Aidan grabbed the younger brother Lloyd and Scott and Stefan grabbed the oldest Ryder. We asked them if they would help us get my powers, but they said no. Stefan hugged me and told me that everything would be fine, but I just wasn’t sure.

“Let me take a shot at it.” Valerie said smirking.

“I know what your going to do.” Luna said.

“Yeah!” Valerie said slyly.

“What are you two up to?” I said nervously.

“You’ll see” they said in unison.

Valerie gut one of her arrows out and Luna caught the top in fire. She shot it out and a ring of fire shot out around the two idiots. They screamed like little girls and cried out begging us to let them help me get my powers. This was a happy day because I was finally about to get my powers! Well at least that was what the others thought.

We ran around looking when Stefan tripped over a mysterious rug that no one had ever seen before. We he hit the floor we heard a loud shriek. He stood up quickly and Lorraine suddenly appeared on the floor and the rug was gone.

“I found my power!” Lorraine shouted hugging Stefan.

“You had it the entire time you just couldn’t get it out.” Luna said.

“I can shape shift!” she said smiling.

“Wait a minute, where is Ryder and Lloyd?” Scott said nervously.

“They’re gone!” I said.

The sun was coming up and we had just had dinner. Ryder and Lloyd were gone and the prince was coming out soon, we had to hurry. The Inn keeper provided us with our fighting clothes. The girls looked hot and well I can’t say that about the guys because that would be a little weird. We got dressed and prepared for the over ruling prince to take prisoners for his dark and bewitching castle on the mountain. I wanted to fight, but Stefan wanted to spend all of his time making Lorraine like him. He was too smothering, but sweet Amy was to naïve to notice it. Scott was getting Luna and Valerie ready for the hunt. It was a scary time for most because he mostly took girls as slaves and guys as soldiers. It’s funny because everyone hear is between the ages of thirteen and seventeen, it’s as if he didn’t want anyone cursed that was a young child or adult and the only adults here where the ones with there powers drained.

Lorraine, Scott, Luna, and I are all fifteen. Valerie is thirteen, she is so short that I thought that she was a little girl. The dark prince is fourteen and Stefan is sixteen. I thought that Valerie being the youngest out of all of us she would be a weak fighter, but I was wrong, I wouldn’t want to get stuck with her and that bow and arrow when she is angry. She had that charm that made everyone who knew her love her.

“All hale his majesty the prince of Brosht!” we heard a town squire cry.

“Why don’t they ever say his name?” Valerie asked me.

“Yeah, and what is his name?” Luna asked.

“Well one, we can’t say it, and two, no one knows.” I said to them both.

“Ohhhhh!” they said in unison.

Fifteen of his soldiers came out and took some people by force, they tried to grab Valerie, but I pushed the tip of the sword to his neck and said, “Don’t even think about it!” They backed away and told the prince’s servant a message. The servant turned to the prince and said something in French. The prince pointed to Valerie and nodded his head. He wanted her, and wouldn’t give up until he got her. This time he walked over himself and bowed to Valerie. He pulled off his cape and Valerie, Luna, Lorraine, and Stefan all gasped.

“Damon Hilton!” The four shouted.

“Yes, did you miss me, Lorraine?” he said sarcastically.

“No!” she shouted.

“Wait then why did you try to get Valerie?” Luna asked curiously.

“Because she is the reason why I lost my queen. I need my revenge on that little witch.” he snapped.

“HEY! Your queen? Don’t you DARE call me your queen!” Lorraine yelled at Damon.

“Excuse me for telling the truth!” he said impatiently.

“No, that little detail must have slipped my mind.” he lied glaring at Valerie.

“You liar! You murdered all of those innocent people.” Stefan butted in.

“I spared you didn’t I? Well if it helps, I didn’t let them sink to the bottom of the ocean, I made them my slaves to wonder Brosht throughout eternity.” he said impatiently.

“No! That doesn’t help you idiot!” Luna shouted at Damon.

“What your tongue little lady you are speaking to the prince of Brosht.” the servant interrupted.

“No, she is speaking to a lying, pig headed jerk with a retarded looking crown on his pin head.” Lorraine shouted.

“Don’t you dare speak to me that way! Your friend probably bewitched you with her mind control, admit it you liked me before that girl came along.” he said acting disgusted when he talked about Valerie while twisting their words.

“Who are you calling ’that girl’?” Valerie mocked the prince.

“Valerie, did you really bewitch me?” Lorraine said softly turning away from Valerie.

“No, what are you talking about.” Valerie said nervously.

“What! I trusted you,” Lorraine cried, “ I can’t believe you, Val.”

“Wait! I didn’t mean it like that, I just said that I didn‘t! Come back Rainie!” Valerie cried.

Lorraine got in the carriage with Damon and they rode off to the dark castle. Lorraine had just made they biggest mistake of her life, going with the prince.

Fifteen of the ugly soldiers caught fire to the Inn and we watched it burn to the ground. I hugged Valerie as she cried on my shoulder for a few minutes. When she stopped crying, Stefan came over and pushed her into the dirt.

“This is all your fault,” he shouted “If you had just kept your mouth shut Lorraine would still be here and we would have a place to stay right now!”

He drew out his sword and swung it at her head. I quickly pulled out mine and stopped him from killing her. She was laying there crying and Scott and Luna where standing on the side of the dirt road with there mouths open in shock.

“Stop it, Stefan, you know as well as I do even of Lorraine where hear we would still have had the Inn burn down.” I said as I picked Valerie off of the ground, she was still crying and Scott ran over.

He checked to see if she was okay. When she started whimpering in pain, we saw a scratch oh her neck from where Stefan slightly scratched her. Scott ran over to Stefan and punched him in the face they got into a fist fight pushing each other down and punching in the face.

“Stop it, Scott! I’m okay!” Valerie shouted.

“Stay out of this, Val. I want to show this loser how a real man fights.“ He snarled trying to make Stefan mad.

“A real man? You fight like a girl!” Stefan called back.

“Well at least I don’t draw a weapon to an innocent girl.” Scott yelled back.

“Innocent Ha! I laugh at that gesture. You just want her to like you! You don’t care about anything, but yourself!” Stefan cackled.

“Yeah well, do realize that the girl that you’re crazy about just went to the bad guy’s castle.” Scott said backing away from Stefan. When the two guys broke apart, they both had busted lips. We got in a long conversation and eventually convinced Stefan that we would get Lorraine back.

We had met Damon again and I suppose the sight of him was too much for dear Lorraine. The entire village was sitting around a fire, most where covered in blankets. It was cold that night and most had lost there belongings thanks to the prince. Valerie and Aidan where sitting under a tree wrapped up in a sheep skin blanket. Scott and I where on the other side talking about random things like the weather. I pointed towards Valerie and Aidan, they where infatuated with each other. We watched them for a minute and then just when Scott got up to get some water, I saw something a thought that I would never see, Aidan leaned in to give Valerie a kiss and she backed away! A horn blew and they separated, we all got up and the village got there weapons. In town there was an assembly with a message from the prince. It said that tomorrow was his birthday and all who didn’t attend the parade would be thrown in jail for five years. We all groaned when the servant left. The prince was someone that no one wanted to exalt except for his followers and none of us would ever follow him. We walked back to the fire except Valerie and Aidan separated. She sat down by me and we talked about it for hours, I did most of the talking though.

We were finally adapting to the knew life of powers and stupid princes. When suddenly Valerie realized something terrible.

“Lorraine is a liar! She betrayed us all!” I shouted to the four.

“Will you get over yourself, your just jealous over her.” Stefan snarled back.

“Wait, you may be on to something,” Valerie said “remember how she said she had no powers… she could scream to make people faint!”

“Brilliant your right, Valerie. That’s why she was double chained up and how Damon was forced to leave the ship!” I said nodding.

“Exactly, she convinced us to get her a power so that she could be greater.” Scott said.

“No, didn’t Damon mumble something before he left the ship.” Valerie asked me.

“Yes he did!” I exclaimed.

“Uh oh than we had better find her fast!” Scott said.

We got our weapons and flew towards the castle. Stefan made us invisible while Scott clutched on tight to me so that I wouldn’t fall to the ground.

We landed in front of the magnificent castle. It was still dark so we might have had a chance, but we would have to hide out until the wedding or we could ruin are chances of saving her.
