We left Scott and Valerie behind, we knew they could handle themselves even though I hated doing it. We started running down the hall when we stopped at the black door.

“Do you want to see what will happen to you if you marry that Loser.” Luna said to me.

“I guess.” I said.

“All right, let me see your knife.” Luna said.

“Uhh that’s going to be a little hard since it’s with my cape in my room.” I said nervously.

“What!?” they all said.

“Yeah.” I said.

“Oh that isn’t good.” Aidan said.

Aidan ran back at super speed and came back with my cape and dagger. Luna blew on the tip and Aidan broke the lock. The door was still stuck, but Aidan said that he could fix that and of course he took the door off the hinges. I watched him move the door like a piece of paper. The hall was dark but Luna led the way. It smelled like someone had died in there. To my surprise there where corpses and skeletons leaning on the walls. I cringed when I stepped on a set of bones and it cracked under my feet.

“Luna, what is this?” I said shocked.

“Lorraine this is what happens to Damon’s wives. He drains there powers until their dust.” she said with her hand on my shoulder.

“I was told by Mrs. Fennywigg that they die, but I didn’t know that he just left them hear.”

“Yes he does, and this is what was going to happen to you.”

We stood there in silence until Luna said, “He has already started on you.”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“You use to have a power of screaming and making non-immortals pass out and he took it away. Luckily you came to us when you still had the chance, but poor Ryder and Lloyd had to take your place. When you agreed to come hear he was slowly draining you to make you think that he was perfect.” she said softly.

“You said the Ryder and Lloyd had to pay the price, what do you mean?” I asked.

“I don’t know what Damon did to them.” she said quietly.

We stood there until we heard footsteps coming down the hall. We flew out and put the door back on it’s hinges.

“WAIT!” a tired muffled voice called out from the corridor.

“Is any one in there?” Luna called out.

“Yes! Please help me!” the scratchy voice said.

We looked inside and a boy was chained up to the wall just like we where on the boat. We got him free and decided that it was best to get him out of this horrible castle as fast as we could.

We ran out and found a corner. Stefan made us invisible as we stood there. We saw two shadowed figures running down the corridor, as to be chased by something. I could hear their heavy breathing as they stopped to catch there breaths. It was Valerie and Scott. As they ran past us we snatched them in. They where invisible as two horrible looking guards ran past.

Sometimes I believe that this whole “immortal thing” is just a stupid long dream. How is it that before this curse was cast that I had better judgment, but now I’m falling for the bad guy, rejecting my friends, and putting people that care about me in real danger. I feel so selfish.

The most difficult part was getting past Damon’s quarters. Sure we could have turned invisible, but Valerie just had to suggest that he would be able to “sense the magic“, what ever that means. She thinks she knows everything, but she doesn’t.

In the Eyes of Aidan

Ever since Lorraine had be taken to Damon, she hadn’t been the same. She was meaner, ruder, and started hating her supposed best friend who saved her life. I’ll admit, I had a thing for her, but now… now I feel like she’s one of them.

As we where about to walk out of the corridor we heard a noise. Someone was behind us. It was our worse night mare, Damon.

“Ha ha, that was an interesting escape attempt. It took you longer than I thought you would, Valerie.” he said suavely.

“Valerie?” we all said in unison.

“Why yes, you didn’t actually believe that Lorraine was the one I was after did you?” Lorraine was stunned.

“But I. But I thought.” he cut her off.

“You thought that I was in love with you and wanted you to be my queen.” I was confused. This whole time he wanted Valerie.

“Well yes, I was attracted to you, but from the moment Valerie figured out my purpose on the ship, I knew it was her strength I needed in my court. Her fire and her ability to become a leader.” he said eyeing Valerie.

“Damon, from the start I knew you where a snake, but I never thought you’d stoup so low.” Valerie hissed.

“Oh, my dear Valerie. You haven’t seen anything yet.” he cackled as he faded in the distance. This was our chance to return to town and warn the others. Damon was powerless in the dark and he was already weakened from the loss of a wife. If we could wait long enough he would be powerless.

We made it back to town where we questions our knew friend. His name was Adrian. He had once secretly spied in the kings castle, but was captured or at least that’s what we were told. Somehow I didn’t believe him.

Valerie and I where sitting at the table eating our first warm meal. The time differences where so strange in the castle. Valerie and Scott where in the castle for days, but we where only in there for a couple of hours. I don’t get it.

“Luna, I’ve got a problem.” Valerie said. It was just me and her by the bonfire.

“What is it, Val?”

“I-I-I never mind.”

“What is it?”

“It’s nothing. Just drop it.”

“Val-”

“Hey Valerie,” Scott cut me off “I need to talk to you.”

“Oh ok.” she said. They walked away to another part of the bonfire.

Aidan came over and sat by me.

“Hey Luna.”

“Hey.”

“Umm where did Valerie go.”

“Oh, Scott needed to talk to her.”

“What do they like each other now?”

“Umm I don’t know.”

“Oh.” it was an awkward silence. I could tell he liked her. It was just too obvious. It was time for me to stand up. I leaned over and kissed him. I thought he was going to get mad, but then he grabbed me and then it happened. We kissed for what seemed like forever.

“Umm I better go check on that spy.” I said. I knew that he liked Valerie and not me and I shouldn’t have used him.

Scott asked me to talk to him about something. When we sat down he looked at me and sighed.

“Valerie, I got to tell you something.”

“What is it?” oh no.

“Um I think I’m in love with you.” oh my gosh

“Um wow I-”

“Don’t, I don’t’ like to be denied.”

“No I wasn’t going to say anything like that I was gonna-” he kissed me. Oh my gah he actually did it. It took him long enough.

Wow I never thought that Scott had those kind of feelings. How could I have never seen this before. Of course! Wow I’m so stupid! All the signs where there, but I wasn’t paying attention.

In the Eyes of Aaron

I was one of Damon’s slaves before the new people came and rescued me. Honestly, I don’t trust them. They don’t know what he can do and I don’t think they’re powerful enough, but who can complain. I was about to die and who is that beautiful girl.

I looked up and there was this beautiful girl standing above me with some water and bread.

“Drink it up, you look horrible.” she laughed. She had the most amazing British voice I had ever heard. I myself am from Ireland, so I’m used to hearing a different tone.
“What’s your name, lass.” my voice was hoarse.
“Luna.” she said.
“Like the moon?”
“Yeah.”
“What’s your power?”
“Fire breath and the gate keeper, yours?”
“Bewitchment.” I laughed. She gave me a look and signaled a tall boy over. I don’t think she trusts me. Haha.
