On the morning of Tuesday March 20, 2007, Mike* walked into first period class at MHS. "he was smiling, and even as early asit was, happy to be at school to see all of us", said my little brother, one of mikes best friends.

mike went through the day, as a normal day, and at 3:04 he walked home, onle living down the street.

my brother walked home with him, and not knowing it would be their last time together, they said to eachother "ill see you tomorow!"

at 10:24 pm the police recieved a horrible call. a neighbor of the apartment of mike and his mother had heard screaming and called 911. fortunately, the police arrived fast. a tragic event had occured that night.

the next day in school they announced over the loudspeakers, " Mike* ___ has passed away last night at 10:30. We would strongly apreciate it if you would please stick to the story you are told publicly and to not spread any rumors. Rest in Peace mikey"

my heart sunk, i couldnt believe what i heard. i wanted to know the story right away. The minute i arrived home my brother had the whole story...

mike and his mother were fine for a while. Until she flipped and lost it. She took a knife to mike, and stabbed him perfusely. She then threw him out the window and to hide him, she put him in her van. She then slit her own throat but before she died, the police arrived on the scene.

horrible story

that saturday was the funeral. over 1000 people showed up. some 3rd graders spoke. my brother said a few words, "mike was amazing. he was my best friend. and i cant wait to tell him everything i did yesterdaym and everything i will do onthe days to come. i miss him."

and he held up a picture he had drew for him. it was so sad. i couldnt stop crying.

by that next week there were posters, toys, bears, signs, notes, and pictures all outside mikes apartment. i will never forget seeing him prance around in the hallways. i miss it

and for his mother, she is in critical condition in the hospital but has appeared to a judge and may be sentenced to life in prison with no 10% and a million dollar bail.

he was such a good kid and didint deserve this life-ending tragedy. may he rest in peace forever and he will never ever be forgotten. and as for the 3rd graders, they are hanging in there. i love them <3

	I"m sorry that this happened. Its so sad. Im a senior at school and i dont know what Id do if one of the underclassmen (anyone from 5th & on) died. I love them all so much.
