   "Oh i'm sorry am I interrupting something," She asked in a sickly sweet voice. I pulled away from my fathers hug to glare at her. FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, I thought. I really need to figure out a way to ban her ass. Standing in that damn doorway was the queen of all bitches. JANET.

   "Oh, hi Alex, how you doin," She asked my father. My father didn't respond he just glared at Janet.

   "By the way where is my little baby boy?" Janet asked. I looked over to my dad, also wondering where Joey was. My dad looked over at me when he answered.

    "Joey is over at Lara's house," My dad explained. I gave my father a questioning look. He hated my aunt Lara. I made a mentle note to ask him why he left Joey with Janet's sister.

   "I'm going to run, and get Joey so he can come to see ya, ok?" He asked me. I nodded my head. My dad gave me one more hug then left me alone with Janet. After he left she turned to face me.

   "What in the hell do you want Janet?" I growled at my so called mother. She looked a little taken back by my hostility.

   "Well I just came back to say good-bye to your worthless ass," She practically yelled back.

   "Well now that you've said your good-bye you can get the hell out of my room," I yelled back. She came over to my bed, and roughly grabbed me by my arm. I could smell her disgusting breath in my face. It was an all to familiar mix of cigarettes, and beer.

    "Now you listen here you little bitch, I didn't need to pay for your damn hospital bill, but I did because you are my daughter, and I love you," She said to me. At what she said I started laughing. That just made her angry.

    "And what in the hell is so funny, huh? Tell me I could use a good laugh," She said while yanking on my arm. I stopped laughing long enough to answer her.

    "You want to know what's funny?" I asked her. She nodded her head.

    "You saying you loved me because we both know that between Joey, and me the only one you care about even a little bit is Joey. You don't give a rat's ass what happens to me. You are nothing to me, but a drunken whore," I said to her. I should have kept my mouth shut though because what did I get in response to that? I got two slaps to the face.

    "Don't you ever talk to me like that again. If anyone in this room is a whore it's you," She yelled. I looked up at her questionably. "Oh don't play miss innocent, I saw that red-headed boy come in here, and kiss you, you little slut," She screamed at me. Soon after her rant a nurse came in to see what all the fuss was about.

    "What is all the yelling about in here," She asked.

    "Nothing, just a little disagreement between my kid, and me," Janet explained.

    "Well, ok, but visiting hours are over so you need to leave ma'am," The nurse told Janet. Janet nodded, and grabbed her purse then left the room. The nurse looked at me, and gasped.

    "Are you ok, honey," She asked while looking at the marks on my face.

    "I'm fine," I said.

    "Do you need help, honey," she asked me.

    "No i'm fine, but can you do me a favor?" I asked.

    "Sure, honey, what?" She asked me.

    "Don't ever let that women come to see me ever again," I told her. The nurse looked at me confused.

    "Isn't that women your mother?" She asked me.

    "No she is not," I said with anger in my voice. "My mother is dead."

    The nurse agreed to ban Janet from visiting me. After the nurse finished checking me out she left me alone. I was so drained with the events that had happened today that I grabbed my MP3, and listened to Walking On Air by Kerli.

    I closed my eyes so that I could sleep, but as I was drifting into dreamland I felt something cold touch my sore cheek. It felt so good on my cheek I turned my face into whatever it was. When I turned my head I realized what was touching my face wasn't a something, but a someone.

    I was extremely confused by this fact so I opened my eyes, and saw a figure standing over me. What shocked me more then the figure was the color of it's hair. I could see the color of it's hair through the glow of the moon.

    It was that all to familiar red. I lefted my hand to touch the figures face. I touched it's face, and it sighed at my touch. I stared at it for a little longer then whispered one word.

   "Nick?"
