   After my little encounter with Nick, he was all I could think about. I don't know how many times I got yelled at today because I was spacing out thinking about him. Jess, and Ruby seemed to notice that I was distracted.

  "Hey S, are you ok, you've been a little out of it today," Jess asked me.

  "What, oh sorry Jess, I just got a lot on my mind today, that's all," I explained to her. Jess looked at me skeptically.

  "Okay S, what ever you say," Jess said, "Well Ruby, and I have to go are dad's here."

  "Ok, I'll see you guys tomorrow," I said.

  "Hey Serenity, do you want our dad to give you a ride home?" Ruby asked me.

  "No it's ok, I'll just wait for the bus," I said. They both looked at me questionally.

   "I swear you guys I'm fine, go before your dad gets irratated." I told them. They both shrugged their shoulders, and waved bye to me. I started to walk to the bus stop when I heard a noise behind me. I turned to see a green car behind me. At first I thought it was Jess, and Ruby coming to convince me to ride home with them, but as it got closer I realized it wasn't them, but none other then Nick Ramsey himself. He pulled up beside me, and rolled down his window.

  "Hey Serenity, do you need a ride?" He asked me. I was so tempted to say, "yes" to him, but I really didn't want Nick to see where I lived.

  "No thank you Nick, I'm going to take the bus home," I explained. He looked at me with a strange expression on his face. I think he thought I was crazy for wanting to ride the bus, instead of getting a ride home with him.

  "Are you sure you don't want a ride, I mean it wouldn't be any trouble at all," He said to me in the most alluring voice I had ever heard.

  "Yeah I'm sure, but how about a rain check?" I asked. He thought about it for a minute then nodded his head.

  "Ok, rain check, then," He said. I started to walk away when he called my name.

   "Oh Serenity, don't think i'll forget about that rain check," He said grinning at me. For a minute I think I stopped breathing, and I actually lost my train of thought. He pulled away grinning, and waving at me. I waved back at him like a complete idiot. I continued walking to the bus stop. While I was walking I couldn't help think how happy he seemed that I agreed to get a ride home from him some other time.

  The bus was late to my stop. So I was late getting home. Dad yelled at me for not being home on time, and complained about how Joey, and him were hungary. I quickly fixed dinner, then went to my room. As I was sitting there doing my homework, I kept thinking how I wouldn't have even gotten in trouble if I had just took the ride home from Nick, or Jess, and Ruby. Well this'll teach me to accept a ride home when it's offered.

Hey guys sorry if this chapter's a little boring. I'm having some writer's block, but I promise to try to make the next chapter more interesting. well I least hope you enjoy this chapter. ~Brittany~
