The next morning all I could think about was hearing that voice tell me good night, and I also could've sworn I saw someone with red hair running away from my house last night. All last night I couldn't get the thought that maybe it was Nicholas who I saw last night. I was still pondering the possibility when I got to school. While I was walking down the hall I suddenly ran into something hard. I fell down onto the floor, hard.
"Ow," I said grabbing the back of my head.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," Said a voice I didn't recognize.
"Here let me help you up," The voice offered.
"Thanks," I said. I grabbed the strangers hand, and got up. When I got up I turned to look at the stranger. When I turned around I was meet with those beautiful grey eyes I had seen yesterday.
"Hello, are you ok," The voice said, "I think you hit your head a little hard."
"Oh, I'm fine, it's just have a little bump," I said, finally looking at his whole face, which was more beautiful up close then far away, "I'm Serenity by the way, and you must be the new student Nicholas Ramsey, am I right?" He laughed at my question, and his laughter was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard.
"Yes, I am Nicholas, but you can call me Nick," Nick told me, "And it is a pleasure to meet you Serenity," While he said this he took my hand in his, and then kissed it.
"Well, aren't we the gentleman," I said quite calm. It surprised me how calm my voice sounded because my heart was beating a thousand times a minute.
"Well I better be getting to class, so I'll see you around?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm positive we'll see each other again," He said, and started to walk away.
"Bye," I yelled down the hall to him. He stopped, and turned, and waved at me. Then he turned back around, and continued to walk down the hall. I hurried to class, but I knew I was late. For the rest of the day, I could still feel Nick's kiss on my hand. Deep in my heart I knew that I was falling for Nick, and I was falling fast. To fast for my liking.
