She carefully turned the corner, barely breathing with the killer, holing a knife, just around it.
Carefully, and slowly...Then a shriek, and everything went dark.

"Hey what happened!" said Kelsey
"I think the power went out!" yelled Amanda.
"Really?" laughed Adam.
"Someone get up and find a flash light, please!" said Candy.
Adam got up first, Then said "C'mon amanda why don't you help me out?" "Yes of course, but help me up." He held out his hand in her direction,
and she grabbed it after a few seconds.
She got up but tripped and fell on the floor and screamed.
"My freaking ankle! Jesus! god dammit!" cried amanda.
"Woah woah Manda are you ok?" asked Adam worriedly.
"Yeah, I think so..." replied amanda wincing.
"Try to stand on it, see if you can walk." adam said.
By this time kelsey and Candy had stumbled to their feet and tried to find a flash light downstairs.
"OWWW!" said Amanda!
"Jeeze you should stay off of it for a while we should get upstairs and put some ice on it." said Adam.
"Found one!" said candy.
"Hey can we borrow that to get upstaires and get some ice on her ankle?" asked Adam.
"Sure i think Kelsey just found one in the bathroom." said Candy.
"Thanks" Adam said as he picked up Amanda.
"Jeeze!" said Amanda.
He carried her up the staires and set her on the counter and got some ice and put it on her ankle.
"Ow!, thanks Adam." she said as she looked into his eyes.
He smiled and and looked back at her noticed her smiling back.

NOW NOW NOW!!! do it!! it's the perfect time!
Kiss her! Kiss her! his head screamed at him.

he moved his face closer to hers.

Oh my gosh I think he's going to kiss me! She thought.

she looked into his eyes innocently and leaned slightly closer...

C'mon C'mon almost there. His heart pounded.

Suddenly,
the lights came back on.
Kelsey came running upstaires candy played with the breaker box appearently someone was playing with it while we were watching the movie.
"Tyler!" Amanda yelled down the hall behind her.
"Yes my darling sister of mine?"
"You're such an ass! I'd chase you but I can't cuz you sprained my f*cking ankle you freak!"
"You probably sprained it cuz you were getting too rough with..." he trailed off because kelsey jetted down the hallway and shut him up just in time.

Thank god for kelsey amanda thought as she sighed.

Adam thought to himself dissappointed that he didn't get to kiss her...

Tyler came out of the room and slid down the hallway and stopped at the kitchen,"Ain't that sweet Adam and Amanda talking and..."
again he trailed off as amanda's face grew red with anger towards the college students taunting.
Tyler looked back and ran as fast as he could continuing down the long hall as kelsey screamed, her face all distorted in anger and chased after him.
"What'd he do kelsey?" said Amanda
She stopped and turned "you won't miss him much will you?" she said through gritted teeth.
"Not really but my mom will, what'd he do?" Amanda repeated her question.
"He first kissed me on the cheek and stole my shoe!" she said storming off
"Oh, well then go ahead."
Adam stuttered, "spe-speaki-sp...nevermind."
Amanda looked at him with a questioning look on her face.
"Nothing is your ankle feeling any better?"
"I think so" said amanda,
He helped her off the counter."Try to walk" he said holding her hand incase she fell.
"Ow!"said amanda.
He helped her up, "That's a pretty bad sprain you might wanna get it checked out, you should call you're parents, I'll take you to the ER if you need me to."
"I'll be fine, I think." she replied.
"Are you sure?" he said.
"Yeah, thanks." she said. 
"Well I was gonna see if you wanted to go bowling tomorrow but I don't think that's such a good idea, any other ideas? If you're not busy I mean." asked Adam.
"Ummm, nothing going on tomorrow but I really don't have any ideas..." she replied.
"Well I'll call you tomorrow morning and we'll figure it out depending on your ankle." he said
"Ok." she smiled.
Candy had joined the chase after tyler, they all fooled around until Candy and Adam had to leave.
Then Amanda and Kelsey crashed in her bedroom and Amanda told her the "almost kiss" story.
