yeah so things are changing up a bit, no more August 15th 2007 and all that. once i got to august i was just like, eh whatever.
Kaden's perpective...
wow, that was weird, i mean, he and I haven't spoken for months, and now he wants to talk, and act like nothing happened. He shouldn't have talked to me, I had finally somewhat moved on, now he's coming back into my life. I wonder what he wants to talk to me about. hmm...
The school say is finally over and i can go home now. I'm still worried about meeting up with Logan tonight. I wish Arielle could come with me, but that wouldnt be fair to Logan and i need to learn to handle all of this on my own.
When I got home, it was around 3:45. My dad wasn't home yet (thank god!) so i grabbed a smirnoff from the fridge. *Ringggg* ughh stupid phone...
"hello?"
"Hey Kay"
"arielle? hi, uhm whats up?"
"oh, nothing, why was logan talking to you earlier?"
"he asked me to meet him down at the beach later tonight."
"Are you? what time?"
"yeah i am, at 2am."
"thats really late, i really dont think you should go, but just promise me one thing,"
"what?"
"Be smart, don't do anything you'll regret. and dont get caught"
"I wont. I have to go, I have homework to finish, I'll call you when i get home okay?"
"okay, bye kaden."
Arielle's really worried about me. Maybe she's right about Logan, he's not worth it.
Arielle's perspective...
I CANT BELIEVE HER! SHES SO STUPID!!! ahhhh i wanna kill her. whatever, i cant do anything about it now. All I can do is just sit and wait...and hope nothing goes wrong.
Kaden's perspective...
Its 1:30, i should probably leave, It will take me awhile to sneak out. As i walk down the stairs, i see my dad drunk and passed out on the floor. I grab my phone and ipod, and walk out the door.
By the time i get there its already 2:14. Logan is sitting in the sand waiting for me. I walk over to him and sit down next to him in the sand. He looked different in the moonlight, i guess i never realized it before. He has this glimmer in his eyes when the light hits them.
"Wow, you actually came, I figured you wouldve blown me off"
"Well, i thought about it, but im here arent I"
"Yes, you are. How are you?"
"a bit cold, i left my sweatshirt at my house"
"Here, take my jacket" He tries to put his jacket on me, but i back away.
"no, thats okay, I'll be fine" The truth is, i wanted the jacket, i was freezing, but i didnt want it to lead to anything, i wasnt going to let my guard down.
"oh, okay."
"Yeah."
"So,umm.." There was an awkward silence for about 5 minutes, then Logan finally spoke up.
"Kaden, i wanted to talk to you about that night. I just, wanted another chance to tell you what happened, since we just went our separate ways so fast without talking about it"
"Logan, no, it's not worth it."
"Just let me talk for a minute, please Kaden. I'm sick of holding this all in."
"Okay, fine, go ahead."
" Kay, that night, I was really manipulated. That girl, meant nothing to me. I was with her and a few of my friends. They left, and it was just her. I asked her to get me a drink, she put vodka in it. You know that i have a low alcohol intake. One drink gets me drunk enough so i cant resist things. She threw me down and got on top of me and ripped my clothes of, i yelled at her to stop but i was pinned down, thats when you walked in. Kaden i never meant to hurt you, and since that happened, I havent been the same because i lost the girl i loved more than anything in the world. I know i screwed up, and i would like a second chance, but i doubt you will give me one..." logan said, then i interrupted.
A tear came to my eye. " Logan, stop,please."
"No, let me finish."
I nodded and he started talking again.
"you probably wont give me the chance to show you how much i love and care about you, so i just wanted to make it known to you. I want to make this work. Kaden...(he paused, and looked me directly in my eyes) I love you." he said
"Logan, i dont know if I love you back. You hurt me so much I'm afraid of letting my guard down and getting hurt again."
"don't be afraid" He said, trying to assure me things will be okay, then he put his arm around me.
I felt safe with him. Maybe i do still love him. *vibratinggg* ahh Arielle's calling. i wish i could pick it up. ill just text her in a minute
"So, will you forgive me, and take me back?"
"Just promise me one thing"
"Anything,"
"Promise me that you wont let me go"
"I promise"
"okay, Logan."
"So we're back together?" he asked
"I guess so.."
[[ New text message from Arielle- R U doing ok? ]]
I pulled out my phone and texted her back, [[ Yeah, Im great ]]
"Wow, its really beautiful out here," he said
"Yeah and its freezing, I think im going to get going."
"No dont, Ill give you my jacket" he put his jacket on me, and then wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I missed you" he whispered into my ear.
"you too"
He looked into my eyes, and leaned in....
