*This part is longer then most, but PLEASE READ. I think I did really good. Please tell me what you think, and BE HONEST. If you like it, then good. If you dont, and you think there is something wrong with this part (or the entire story) tell me.  

***Cedric sighed. "If we dont get you back..." he trailed off. "Allright" he said after a moment, setting the man down. Victor could hear Dee and her friends getting closer. "We will fight."***

Cedric started shooting out orders.  Victor and the chubby woman both carried the man to an old fallen tree. They set him down, and the girl, obiviously frightened, followed. The chubby woman crouched down next to the man, and motioned for the girl to follow.When all three were hidden by the large tree, Victor hurried back over to Cedric and Patrick.

"Victor, we'll need you to lend us power, as we heal, in order to help Patrick atleast walk." Cedric explained to Victor how to do so, and in a few moments Patrick was able to stumble to his feet. The small amount of healing only allowed him to walk. He still had a painful limp as he stood next to Victor.

"Alright, move over there Victor," Cedric ordered pointing at the trees to the left. Don't fight until you see me fight."

"But I-I dont...I dont really know how" Victor stated quietly.

"All you need to do is concentrate. You have to want it Victor. The only way you defended yourself from Dee was because you wanted to, you put plenty of emotion into protecting yourself. Knowing that if you fail, three innocent people will die, is emotion enough for this, I hope." Cedric finished quietly. Victor nodded, dashing into the dense trees. Cedric went to the right, vanishing amoungst the branches, and Patrick stood there, appearing to be alone.  His hands illuminated, forming balls. Victor peered at the trees which concealed Cedric. He saw a faint white glow, and knew that Cedric was prepared.

Victor concentrated as he heard the foot steps growing closer. He raised both of his trembling fist's. His hands were quickly engulfed in dozens of tiny blue lightning bolts. He thrust open his fingers as the light gathered at his palm, forming tennis-ball sized orbs. A large smile spread across his face. He couldnt believe he had done it so quickley. With a snap and a stumble the man with a bald head appeared. Patrick shot a ball at him, that was quickly followed by others.

    "Forrest!" Hollered Dee in warning. It was to late. Two balls struck his face, blowing him to the ground. The other man, Victor figuered it must be Derek, started shooting.  Dee knelt next to Forrest, then after a second, helped him to his feet. As Patrick and Derek faught on, no one noticed the white orb zooming from the right. Just in time Dee dived out of the way, taking Forrest with her. As they hit the ground Cedric shot another orb at Derek. Amazingly he countered it with an orb just in time. Victor could tell...this man was skilled.

As Dee stumbled to her feet, she directed her attacks at Patrick.  Derek automatically switched to attacking Cedric. Victor stood there, afraid to move. He realized that it was three to two out there, and the enemy was oviously more skilled. With one deep breath he lept from the trees, blasting his orbs at Dee. The bald man had risen, shooting sphere, after sphere at Victor.

   He threw up his hands, blocking and shooting all at once.  His blue ball zoomed at the man, and without warning it changed course , shooting back at its creator.  Victor blocked it, then launched more balls at Forrest, whom was now shooting off various defences, in all directions. Trees balsted apart, and set on fire as the mad-man blew off magic like crazy. Dee and Patrick were practically at eachothers throats, both wanted to kill the other. Cedric was clearly being pushed to his limit as he faught the talented Derek. Forrest shooting off orbs and rays was oviously not helping Victors companions.  Victor and Cedric had both slowly moved positions, and they were now standing near to Patrick. Since Forrest wasnt paying any attenion to Victor, he switched his efforts to Derek.

   Forrest suddenly started to produce transperant rectanlges, the size of doors. Victor realized the white walls served as sheilds, and immediately focused on taking Forrest down.  But Forrest was ready for him. As Victor frantically shot his blue orbs at Forrest, the bald man sent numerous orbs flying back. Victor threw his hands in front of him, concentrating on making a sheild. To his releif a rectangle, indentical to Forrests's appeared before him.  It flickered as a succession of rays and orbs blasted it.  Victor desperatly concentrated on repairing it. The door-size sheild started getting less and less transperant. Victor's relief soon fanished when he beheld Forrest claping his hands together. As he slowly spread them apart a large white sphere formed, growing larger as his arms grew wider apart. Soon it was the size of a beach ball.  He shot it at Victor.

The white sheild bursted apart like glass, sending Victor crashing to the ground. He quickly rose to his feet, blindly shooting blue balls in Forrest's direction. He knew he wouldnt be able to survive by simply shooting the same hex. So he thrust his hands in front of him, attemting to produce the green ray he had seen Dee perform earlier. But nothing came out. Before he could defend himself a white orb shot as his chest. He flew backwards, his back smashing into a tree that sent him crashing to the ground. His mind and body were englufed in pain. His lungs refused to work as he lay there in a complete state of painful shock.
