**"She is Dee," Pat said looking away."Wait, your mom's Dee?" Victor asked loudly.**

"Yes, dont get all freaked out, Im not proud of it." Patrick said, speaking quielty.

"Is that why...is that why she called you a traider?" Victor asked.

"Ah, you remember that, wasnt sure if you heard that confersation. But yes, thats exactly why. The woman hates me. She's tried killing me" Patrick sighed, "as you saw."

"But..."Victor trailed off, not knowing what to say.

"Long story short," Pat said, "as I was growing up, she tried working her ways into me, wanting me to be a part of the T.A too. Even though I was little, and was sorrounded by all that influence, I thought it was all wrong. Whatching her and her friends, talking about people they had to kill, and what not...when I was 17, I ran away."

"Oh," Victor said simply.

"I went to the palace, and asked to see the person in charge. I told them everything I knew, and when it all turned out to be true, I gained their trust, and here I am."

"The palace?" Victor asked.

"Its like your white house," Cedric uttered from behind him.  Victor turned to see him with his head rested on the cold window, his eyes closed. After a couple hours, they transfered buses. Once again they sat in the front. The next transfer had a two hour wait. The three of them sat in the quiet station, barely talking. By the time they had entered the Colorado state line, hours later, it was dark again. Victor checked the clock and noticed it was 3:45am. They were traveling down a deserted road, with trees on each side. The only people that were with them from the first bus, were the fat man, and the woman and her daughter. There were four passangers besides them.  A young man with glasses, an older couple (maybe 40) holding hands, and a chubby woman listening to an iPod.

"Wait," said Cedric quietly. Patrick and Victor turned to see him staring out the front window.

"What?" Pat asked. When Cedric did not answer, both Victor and Pat turned to follow his gaze out the window sheild. Standing far down the road, were three dark figures.

"What the hell?" they heard the bus driver ask, under his breath.  As the bus got closer, the lights illuminated the three figures legs. They were all wearing pants.  The bus driver slowed down, and gave a warning honk of the horn.  The people didnt move.

"Shit," gasped Cedric, as he stood up slowly, trying to get a better look at the mysterious trio. The bus driver honked again, slowing down even more. As the buses lights hit the faces of the people, Victor could make out Dee, and two other men.

"F*ck" cursed Cedric, jumping to his feet. "Dont slow down!" he ordered the bus driver.

"Sir, sit down!" he growled back, putting his foot on the break.

"No!" he yelled, "Listen, you CANT slow down!"

"Are you crazy? Sir, sit down." The bus came to a complete stop, about ten feet from Dee and her accomplises.  They stood there staring at the window sheild with squinted eyes, blinded by the light.

"Idiot," Cedric growled standing there, waiting for something to happen. "Everyone is about to die," he whispered. But everyone heard him anyway.

"What?" the little girl asked in a shocked voice, "mommy what did he say?"

"Nothing dear, shhh." whispered her mother, trying to see out the front window. By now everyone was confused, wondering what was going on. Victor whatched, barely breathing. 

"On no," whispered Patrick. Victor just looked at him. "Thats Derek and Forrest" Victor looked at him again, raising his eyebrows. "We're screwed." Patrick said simply. Victor slowly turned back to the window.  Cedric was standing there, by the driver, still as ice. Patrick slowly rose to his feet, but didnt move from his spot.  Victor scooted to the end of his seat, and waited. The driver moved his hand, about to honk.  Cedric quickly grabbed his wrist.

"Dont," he said. the driver lowered his hand, without a word, and starred out the window. Victor knew this was the silence before the storm. One of the men raised his hand.

"GO!" screamed Cedric.  The driver didnt ask any questions, he just stomped on the gas. The three dove out of the way. The bus zoomed down the road.  Everyone turned to look out the back window.  The three were rising to their feet.  A large blue orb came flying from one of the men. "DOWN!" Cedric hollowed, throwing himself at the metal floor.  Every passanger covered their heads. The Fat man in the back tried to get away from the ball, but he wasnt quick enough.  It blasted threw the window, then went straight threw his chest, spraying blood all over the chubby woman. She screamed, dropping her iPod. The little girl was glingling to her mom, crying her eyes out, screaming at the top of her lungs.

  Another blue ball shot through the glass, it went straight down the bus, and out the front window, shattering the glass.  The driver screamed in pain as the glass peirced his face. Blood trickled down his chocolate skin. The bus swerved and flew off the road, crashing down the hill and through the trees.
