He felt like yelling his sisters name, but decided that maybe it wasnt the best idea. As soon as he reached the top of the stairs his father came stumbling out of his room, his mother straight behind him.

"Courtney" his father screamed, damn he gave them away. 

"Daddy," came a muffled scream in reply. All three rushed towards the pink door covered in hearts.  Victor was there first. He grabbed the handle and pushed. It was locked. As soon as his father got there he threw hinslef at the door. "Daddy" came i muffled scream for the second time.

"Courtney were coming honey," yelled Victors father, trying to break down the door. Courtney screamed and then there was another crash, and it sounded like somtheing huge.

"Vern hurry," screamed Victors mother.

"Mom, i dont understand Courtneys room doesnt have i lock." Victor cried.

"Bev, i cant get it down," screamed Vern.  Courtney was still screaming. The dorr knob started jiggling from inside the room, it was courtney.

"Daddy, open the door, daddy open it!" she sceamed. Pounding on it.

"Im trying honey get back," Vern screamed at his daughter. Tears were running down Beverlys face. She was rocking back in fourth bitting her nails, in a complete state of shock. Victor was just standing there so he joind his father, throwing himself at the door.  His mother stood there for a moment then turned running down the hallway, her blond hair racing behind her.

"Im calling the police" she screamed, jumping down the stairs two at a time. Courtney was still inside the room screaming.

"No," she screamed, "Dad," her voice was muffled, Victor knew her mouth was being covered.

     Vern and Victor stopped attacking the door the instant they heard Bev sream bloody murder from downstairs. Vern took a step towards the stairs, then stopped when he heard Courtney scream for him. "Victor go!" he ordered his son, as he began charging the door again. Victor hesitated, then sprinted down the hall, flying over the steps three at a time.  When he reached the bottom he heard a bang, it wasnt a gun shot, it sounded more like a small bomb.  Blue light engulfed the kitchen.  Victor was standing in the living room, sheilding his eyes from the harsh light that flooded out of the kitchens entrance. The light disappeard almost as suddelny as it had came. He took a step towards the kitchen, but stopped. He was to scared do go in. He saw a shadow of a person as it came towards the intrance into the kitchen, it had long hair. Relief filled his entire body.

"Mom are you-" his words stopped dead in his throat.  A woman with brown hair and bloody scares on her cheek appeard.  The scares looked as if they were inflicted by finger nails. Three of them, started at her eye and ended an inch or so down her cheek. She brought her hand up to her cheek and pressed hard on her wounds, bringing it back down and examaning the blood. She laughed a little.

"hello Victor" the woman greeted in an english accent without looking away from her hand.
