As we pulled up to Trek’s apartment building, I noticed one thing specifically. There were a TON of hot guys hanging around. Seriously. I mean, it was like an apartment building made for SPECIFICALLY hot skater guys. In my mind I was all…

“YESSS! HOT DUDE! SCOOOOREEE!” but out loud I was more like..

“O MY GAWD! WE LOOK LIKE HOBOES AND IT LOOKS LIKE A PHOTO SHOOT FOR “TOP 200 HOTTEST GUYS!!”

I glanced over at Amber and saw stark terror on her face, also. Usually she would be the one glowing with glee from seeing all these sexii boys…but with her little run in with a bee earlier, causing her lip to swell IMMENSELY, she wasn’t her normal self. As we pulled into the only parking space not filled with guys, and there were a few girls, I reached into Amber’s glove compartment and pulled out a compact mirror. Being totally unlike me, I checked my make-up, and then handed it over to the distressed Amber. I still had blood on my legs and hands, but it was now dried.

There were a couple of guys who looked into the windows, but I totally ignored them, turning to help Amber apply lip-gloss. She was now screaming in pain, saying it burned. What I really wanted to do was smack her in the forehead for being such a dumb ass. Instead, I decided she’d had enough pain for the day, and snatched a napkin off the floor to help her wipe it off the sting.

“What were you THINKING Amber? You don’t put lip-gloss on after you just got stung by a BEE!” I hissed and threw the napkin back on the floor. Amber banged her head on the steering wheel a couple of times before groaning, and swinging her car door open with force. A lot of force. So much force that before it could fully open, it smacked some unlucky dude in the butt, and knocked him right on his face. A few girls started laughing, and the other guys laughed even harder than them. Amber started to bite her lip, trying not to burst into hysterics, but before I could stop her, she clomped on her lower lip tightly……and screamed.

WHAT a mess! I thought in my head, and climbed out of my side of the car, with care I might add, to go fix this mess. Shuffling, yes shuffling, due to my half broken shoe, over to the fallen person first. Everybody else was to busy laughing to help, and I even had trouble containing my laughter. I knelt down beside him,

“Hey.” I said with a bright smile. “you okay?” I asked.

He was up on his hands and knees by now and was almost up.

Once he was standing I noticed just how short this dude was! He was as short as me! My EXACT same height to be in particular. His hair was spiky and brown, and he had black eyes. Just like me.

I stared for a second, not because he was amazingly gorgeous or anything, but because of the color of his eyes. The exact same as Art’s.
