After climbing the screechy steps to the second floor, I peeked in Brody’s room, afraid what I might see. Oh, I was afraid alright. Not because Of what I thought I’d be scared of, you know, him laying motionless in his bed with a bloody bandage rapped around his head. No, What I saw was much worse. That was Beverly sitting on Brody’s lap, with her top off, and Brody sitting there making out with her. Thank God he was fully dressed, or he wouldn’t have been the only one fainting that day. Even if he was fully dressed, I was crushed. No, not only me, but a part of me,. My heart. It dropped to the pit of my stomach right then and there. “Oh My god, don’t you ever knock weirdo?” Beverly squealed in her snootiest tone, frantically trying to find her shirt. There goes the thought of her being a nice person. “Well, I’m sorry I wasn’t expecting there to be some easy slut making out with my best friend right after he fainted!” I screamed, I scream for all the rage , hurt, despair, that was inside of me. “Excuse me?” She said after she had hastily gotten her shirt on. “What did you just call me?” Before I could stop myself from saying it, it slipped out. “You heard me, you whore, why don’t you go back to your street corner?” Omfg! I thought, I did not just say that. I mean, it really is bad that after dating someone for approximately 3 days you screw them. Well….attempt to at least. Yea, after I made the street corner crack, that’s when all hell broke loose! Wham!! I ducked as a shoe came flying at me. Then I was pissed. So not only did I yell “Bitch!” I strode over to her, fast, and socked her right in the nose as hard as I could. I thought that would definitely make her back off, but I was wrong. She grabbed me hair and started yanking me to the ground. But not before I could grab her hair and start slamming her head against the wall. She automatically let go of my hair and then started clawing at me hand to let go of her hair, screaming “You freaky good for nothing piece of shit, let me go now.” Although you couldn’t really tell what she was saying , seeing as how I was ramming her face against the wall. That’s when I felt a hand slide around my waist and pull me away from Beverly. I tried to get back to her, but the person holding me was too strong. Beverly turned around and glared at me. While she meant the glare to be threatening, I couldn’t help but laugh at the way she looked. Her hair had fallen out of it’s clip and was now everywhere, her nose was bloody, and the blood was flowing down to her lips, Which the bottom one was busted, already swelled and getting bigger. Plus her make up was running down her face from where she was crying from the pain. “Your going to pay for that!” She screamed outraged, and plunged at me. But before she could get to me, Brody’s mom walked in the room. “What In the world is all this ruckus about?” She asked with a look of concern on her face. Then she saw the bloody wall, not very blood , just a little, and Beverly’s bloody face. Her eyes widened even more and she looked straight at me. “What happened here?” Beverly took action then, playing the innocent victim role. “Oh, Mrs. Rollins, she attacked me. I was just up here talking to Brody, and she came in and attacked me.” As she was saying this she started fake sobbing. Now, I was never really one for violence, and this was my first fight ever, but after I got a taste of what it was like to get payback on the ones you hate most, I loved it! I was still in the grip of someone very strong. I turned around and seeing it was Brody I yelled “Get your hands off me! Don’t touch me after you touched her!” I lurched out of his grip. “See Mrs. Rollins, I didn’t do anything to her and she’s being so mean! “ She fake wailed. My anger at that moment boiled over, and I started toward her with the intention of knocking her head across the room. But once again Brody stopped me. “I want you to leave Kennedy. Why would you do this to her? She didn’t even do anything to you. I thought you were different.” She looked disappointed in me. “What??!!!!! You believe that lying piece of scum?! You Don’t even know the whole story!” “I want you out now!” She said, a look of pure anger rising in her. I didn’t object any longer, I yanked out of Brody’s grip, and ran down the stairs. My ears were buzzing with rage. I walked straight to my house, ignoring the calls of my mother asking me why I was home so early, went straight to my room, and wept for the second time that day.
