Theadore's Man...My dream Man

Here’s the thing , I could not get Brody out of my head all day. Not for one second could I escape the way his eyes were like melted Hershey kisses, or the way, whenever I needed him, he was always there for me. No matter what the situation was, he would not leave me to go through it alone. He was my best friend. And now the feelings were not only friendship, but love. Yupp, I’m in love and falling faster every time my eyes got laid on his recently worked on body. Even before he started working out he was a complete hottie. Every time I was him with Beverly, my heart wanted to crumble into little pieces and I wanted to shove them in his face to see how mush he hurt me. Not only was I filled with despair when I saw them together, but also with anger. Smashing her face in was a day dream I often had, but I know that was wrong and cruel and I couldn’t do that. Not only because it was horrible, but also because I kind of liked her, I mean from how much I talked to her. She really seemed like a genuinely nice person. So what was I supposed to do about this situation. Apparently I’m juts supposed to hide it. That’s exactly what I was going to do. I couldn’t tell anyone, I wanted Brody to be happy, and he was, so I was not going to ruin I by telling him that I was in love with him. I was not going to sit around and let him pity me. That’s not what I want. My choice was made.

All of a sudden tears started streaming down my face, Out of nowhere really. I was just sitting at the lunch table alone, and my eyes just started pouring water out like a waterfall. So I did the only thing I could, ran for the bathroom. But I didn’t make it far, Because as I was turning to get up, Garen stood right in front of me blocking my way to the bathroom. “Move!” I said, not wanting him to see my tear stained cheeks.

“What’s wrong Kennedy?”

“Nothing concerning you, go away.” I didn’t mean to sound so mean, but I really did not want to be humiliated in front of him.

“there’s something wrong Kennedy, and I want to know.” He looked concerned, Really concerned, like he actually cared.

“It’s kind of private and I barely know you, so can u pleez just go away?” Not looking up from my worn out converses.

“Are u going to be ok?” He asked

“Yea, I’m fine.” He still stood above me while I sat I in the chair turned toward him. He sat down in the chair across from me and hugged me, and held me tight until my sobs came to a stop. I let him hold me feeling comforted by his long arms. I looked up at him, my eyes red and puffy from crying, “Thank you, I just needed someone there for me” I said.

“No problem, I don’t like seeing girls cry” He said with a smile.

I smiled back and looked around at the people in the caffetaria. The bell was going to ring any second.

“Sure your ok now?” “Yea, I’m fine, o and sorry for not calling you back last night, My neighbor got my phone. Do you want to come over after school today or something to make up for not calling back?”

“yea sure, I’d like to come over, but not to make up for anything, it’s not your fault someone got a hold of your cell. And whoever that was by the way was very rude.” I laughed and he looked at me funny, then started laughing also. I looked over a couple tables down and saw Brody looking at me. Raw emotion was so clear on his face I nearly lost my breath. Hurt. He looked hurt. He WAS hurt. I could tell in his eyes. We stared at each other for what seemed like minutes, but was merely only a few seconds. Letting all the feelings run out of me in a rush to my eyes for him to see. Hurt, Anger, Sadness, Longing. Everything. The bell rang, everyone started for the door, going between mine and Brody’s line of vision on each other. “So, I’ll call you tonight and you can tell me where you live? Garen was questioning. “You did get your cell back right? “Yea,” I replied a little dazed by what had just gone down between me and Brody. “Call me, bye” And I rushed out of the cafeteria as fast as I could. Why would Brody be hurt? Not only did I see hurt. I saw longing, and love. Love for me? Longing for me?? I didn’t know. And I didn’t know if I’d ever know.
