The sun's glare woke Esme with a start. Blinking, she sat up and looked around. She was in Zach's living room on the couch. Zach was on the couch next to her, Anistazia was curled up in the armchair, and Mykal was on the floor under the blanket and..wait! Mykal! Leaping out of her chair like a monkey out of a tree, Esme pounced on him. "You're okay! You're home! You're..still asleep." Esme couldn't help feeling disapointed. She put her hand over Zach's mouth and shook him. Zach opened his eyes and looked at her, confused. Pressing her finger to her lips to keep him quiet, she pointed at Mykal.

"Oh my God, he's alive! I thought for sure that..but he's okay!"

"Ah, what the fudge? You guys have to wake me up?" Mykal opened his eyes now, stunned.

"Yeah, dude! Where were you yesterday? You freakin' scared us!"
