I packed some of my clothes and got in my car. I started it and drove. I kept driving till I was out of my state. Then I looked for a hotel to stay in. It was a Best Western and it was nice. I checked in and then went straight up to my room.

I took a shower and then got into bed. I watched TV for about 5 minutes before I feel asleep. I had no idea how tired I was. When i woke up in the morning  it was 9 o'clock. I was shocked because I usually woke up at 7 o'clock.

I jumped out of bed and got dressed. Then I scrambled to collect my things. When I was just about to walk out the door , I forgot I had the TV on. I walked over to the TV and the news was on. I had my finger on the power button when a story came on that made me afarid.

"In other news Josh Miller of Oxford Iowa was murdered yesterday. He was found alone in his house and he was shot 6 times. No suspects yet but the police did find a gun at the scene. More on this story later."

I was in shock. I couldn't believe they had it on the news already. And I forgot that I left the gun right there. Then I realized that the gun would have my finger prints on it.

I didn't bother to turn the TV off. I just jumped up and ran out the door. 

When I got to the lobby, I checked out and ran to my car. When I was on the road I called the airport. I scheduled a flight to New York.

I knew I had to get as far away as possible.

I drove for about 2o minutes before I got to the airport. I grabbed my stuff and ran into the terminal and i went through security and everything and got on my plane.
