Fishing for love

I readied my stuff and got in the car ready to go to camp. I had been going to this camp for as long as I could remember. It was my favorite place ever. It used to be only an hour or two away but it moved and now it's 4 hours away. "Come on we can't miss check-in!" I yelled to my family. They put their stuff in the trunk and got in the car. We said bye to our dad because he couldn't go. Then we left.

A few things about my camp that I like is one, your are friends with everyone. You can be in a cabin for one week with complete strangers and by the second day your best friends with everyone. Another thing I like is that they split you up into groups. There is Maidens(girls) and Scouts(boys) which are 7-11 year olds and the Squaws(girls) and Warriors(boys) which are 12-15 year olds. I am a maiden and his is my last year as one. I'm happy and sad at the same time because I like being a maiden but being a squaw looks fun.

After a while of driving we stopped at a Sheetz and got food. We ate it and then got back on our way.

After 4 hours of continuous driving we finally reached camp. The line for check-in was really long. So while my brother and mom stood in line me and my sister went to look for chiefs we knew. We found a couple and were talking to them and we even saw some campers we knew.

When we went back to the line for check-up we were right at the first stop, Choosing our activities for the week. We chose and then went to the next stop. The next stop was picking our Wednesday Trip which is just a trip we go on on Wednesday. All the other prepaid trips were taken and there was just canoing and fishing left.Three weeks ago when I came to camp I went canoing so I chose fishing.

Our next stop was getting our picture taken for identification. Then was the pay stop. We paid and we got our cabin numbers me and my brother. My sister just came to say hi and only me and my brother were actually staying.

We went to my brother's cabin first. He got unpacked from the car and packed into the cabin. My mom said bye and then we went to my cabin. I got my stuff out of the back. Then i walked into a cabin full of strangers all of them obsessed with horses. That's because it was horse cabin which is when for 3 of your 4 activities your with the horses and you only do it if you like horses.

The cabin had 3 stories. There was a downstairs a middle where the chiefs slept and a top where I put my stuff. I got a bottom bunk. 

I went back to the middle floor where the door was and said bye to my mom and she left. Then I was left with people I didn't know but I knew I would soon get to know them.
