“Psssst!”

“Ugh.”

“PSSSSSSSST!! Jackie!”

I slowly rolled over on my side and peeked my right eye open.

“Louise?” I groaned.

“Hey! You know you have to be thee heaviest sleeper I’ve ever known?”

I slightly smiled and pounded my face into my pillow.

“Why are you here Louise?” My voice was muffled from being stuffed into the pillow.

“I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out?”

I looked up at her with a weird look on my face.

“You could have just called!” I laughed.

“Yeah, well I all so wanted to see Zack too.” Louise said, looking at the wall.

I laughed into the pillow and thin sat up, rubbing my eyes.

“Yeah, we should hang out.”  I said, looking over at the clock that read 12:57

Gosh I most have really been out! I chuckled to myself.

“Hey Louise? You in there?” Zack’s voice come from the opposite side of the door.

“Sure am.” Louise hollered back.

And the next thing, Zack’s walking through the door with a big grin on his face.

“Of course you can come in Zack!” I joked as I pulled the covers up to cover my chest.

Considering I was only wearing a black and white spaghetti strapped shirt with “No” bra…I really didn’t feel comfortable.

“So my Louise-Goosy, were we going today?” Zack asked, pulling Louise into a hug and kissed her on the forehead.

I rolled my eyes and looked away. Not because I thought it was gross, but so I could hide the jealousy in my eyes. If only they knew how badly I wanted what they had.

“Actually babe I’m going to hand with Jackie today.” She smiled.

“Oh, okay. Well I guess I could hang out with Paul.”

“WAIT! I have a better idea!!!!!!!!!” Louise screamed, making me shoot her a look of surprise.

“And what is that?” Zack asked as he rubbed his ears.

“Why don’t we all go out?! Me, you, Jackie and Paul!” Louise was now jumping up and down.

“Sounds fun to me!”  Zack laughed. “What do you think Jackie?”

I just sate there and looked at them both. Man they both look so happy together! The way Zack holds her is like him holding a small rose that could brake at any moment. And they way she looks at him, is like she’s looking at him for the very first time.

I sighed to myself and wished so badly I could be as happy as them.

“Hellllllooooo?” Louise waved her hand in front of my face, trying to get my attention.

“Uh? What? OH! Sorry.” I blushed from embarrassment and snapped back to life.

“Are you good with us all going out?” Zack repeated.

“Um, uh, maybe, I don’t know, I guess?” Was all I was able to get out?

Louise looked at me with her “Something’s up” look on her face.

“Ummm, Zack could you give us a minuet?” Louise asked, looking up into his eyes.

Zack looked at me and thin at Louise. “Um, yeah.” And he left.

“Jackie?” Louise took my hand and sate on the bad next to me.

“Hm?” I mumbled.

“Please tell me what’s wrong?”

I scrunched up my face and looked at her. “Since when was something wrong?” I chuckled my fake chuckle.

Louise smirked at me. “For 1: you’re the worst liar. And for 2: I can all ways tell when something is wrong.”

I looked straight ahead for a moment and thin sighed.

“Do you remember the guy I was telling you about…well…before”

I asked.

“Um, if you give me a name thin maybe I’ll remember.”

I sighed once again and closed my eyes tightly.

“Ronnie.” I was finally able to get out.

I could tell Louise was pondering it for a wile before she spoke up.

“OH yeah! I remember now! You’re “Ex” rite?”

“I don’t really like to call him my Ex…but yeah.” I now had my head laid on Louise’s shoulder.

“Hm, okay, what about him?” Louise asked.

“Well, I’ve been thinking-

“WOO! SHOKER!” Louise blurted out.

“Louis! I’m serious!” I cried out.

“Oh, sorry….any ways…like you where saying.”

“Well…where was he? You know. When. Well. You know?”

Silence flooded the room for a couple of minuets.

“Jackie. Um.” Louise looked down at her hands that suddenly become sweaty.

I noticed it and quickly pushed off her shoulder and looked deep into her eyes.

“Louise? What are you not telling me?”

Louise took a deep breath, fowled by a gulp.

“After maybe 4 weeks of you being…in…well…the coma.”

I stomach hurt from the word “Coma”

I pushed her to go on.

“Well, a guy, about our age comes to visit you. He said you and him had been long time friends back in Salt Lake.”

I could feel my heart quicken is pass.

“Yeah, well he said his name was-

But before she could go on the door swung open.
