I wonder what Nick's doing right now, Jacklyn thought to herself. Her eyes glazed a little bit at the though, her head tilted. Suddenly, she straightened. What the Hell? How...WHY did I suddenly start thinking about Nick? she thought. "You OK?" Will asked, feeling that she tensed up. "Hmmm? Yeah, I'm fine," Jacklyn replied, "I was dosing off, and then I suddenly woke up." Will chuckled and kissed her forehead. "Oh, hey, I almost forgot to tell you," Will said, "There's this really cool guy I know. His name's Nick. He lives over in California. Anyways.." but Jacklyn cut him off, "I know, he added me. We talked a little today," she said. Will seemed surprised, "About what?" he asked. "Nothing. I just said hey, he said hey. And we just talked about the usual, you know? Like hey, what's up, what you doing. Nothing special," she said. Will shrugged, "Yeah, I was hoping to introduce you to him, but oh well." Jacklyn laughed and kissed his cheek, "You're so sweet," she said. Will smiled and hugged her.

A few months later; Millville, New Jersey

Will sat beside Jacklyn on her bed. The lights were off, everything was quiet except for the sound of the TV. Will was gently stroking Jacklyn's hair. Will pushed Jacklyn's chin up with the side of his index finger and kissed her deeply. Jacklyn put her hands on Will's cheek and ran her hand through his hair. Jacklyn felt Will move his hand up her waist and closer to her chest. Will pulled away from her slightly, his hand stopped. He looked at her, as if waiting for an answer. Jacklyn nodded her head gently. Will continued to kiss her, and gently fondled her breast. Will, with his free hand, grazed his hand along Jacklyn's thigh, and unzipped her jeans. He slipped his fingers inside, and began fingering her. Jacklyn moaned softly and hugged Will tightly. Jacklyn heard will unzip his pants, and felt the tip of his head about to enter her. He gently began to push farther in, but Jacklyn stopped him, "No, Will. Stop....please," she whispered. "WHAT THE FUCK!?" A yell came from outside. It was Jacklyn's dad, he saw them through the window. Will jumped off from Jacklyn and zipped up. Tears began to leak from Jacklyn's eyes. Jacklyn's dad burst into the room, grabbed Will's hair, and pulled him out the room and threw him out the front door, and into the driveway. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! DON'T LET ME EVER SEE YOU NEAR HERE!" Jacklyn's dad shouted after Will. He turned around and walked to Jacklyn's room. "You!" He roared, "You are grounded for life! No leaving the house!" Jacklyn curled into a ball and began to bawl. In two seconds, she had just lost everything.

Lake Tahoe, California...

Nick swerved into a stop at the line of the ski lift. He looked up at the slope, waiting for his friends to make their way over. Forrest leaped over a skier that fell down, Alex swerved around Forrest, and swerved next to Nick. "Awesome snow today," Forrest said. "Yeah, it's hella hot, though," Nick said, wiping his forehead. He was wearing his thinnest shirt, and even still he was freezing. "Just do what I do," Forrest said, "Go with your shirt off." Alex laughed, "Yeah," he said, "But once you fall, you're going to be so miserable." Nick laughed and shook his head. "Thank God for this snowboarding trip," he said, "I really needed it." Forrest looked concerned, "I heard about what happened with Brianne. I'm real sorry, man," he said. Nick shook his head, "It's OK. I found out later that she was cheating on me, so I don't give a fuck. If she wants go around, suck as much dick as she can, and then die of herpes, that's her fault." Alex laughed and shook his head, "You're terrible, dude!" he yelled. Nick chuckled and hopped onto the lift. "I heard it's going to rain tomorrow," he called to Forrest, who was on the lift behind Nick. "You guys wanna head home tonight? Because I do not want to break my ass tomorrow with the hard snow that's gonna be here." Forrest laughed, "Yeah, OK. It's almost closing time, anyways. We'll go for one last run, get some dinner, head to the hotel, pack up, and go back in the morning." Nick nodded, "All right. Hope there's not too much traffic tomorrow," he said.

Pleasanton, California...

After dropping Forrest and Alex off, Nick drove up in his driveway. He walked inside and stretched, "Finally!" he said to himself, "God it's been fun." He sat down and checked his inbox. He had messages from Will; "Hey Nick, what's up? I guess you're away...idk. I just needed to talk 2 sum1...Jacklyn's dad walked in on me and Jacklyn while we were...yea....doing it. So yea...I'm fucked. I didn't even get to give her my Christmas gift for her...anyways, yea. just msg me back or sumtin sumtime". Nick grimaced at the message, "I'm real sorry, man. Life can be a bucket-o-shit sumtimes. But you know...just try to look at the glass half FULL. Life's always better if you ignore the negatives. Just hang in there, I hope things will get better soon".
