Scott and Jennie slowly walked into their apartment together, holding hands. "I have a surprise for you," Scott said, leading her to the bathroom. Scott opened the door and Jennie gasped. The jacuzzi in the hot tub had roses floating around in them. Bouquets of roses in shapes of hearts. Everywhere in the bathroom were candles. "Scott," Jennie sighed, "This is so sweet of you." Suddenly, something clicked in her mind, and she turned to face Scott angrily. "You're not just doing this for sex again, are you?" She growled. Scott looked terrified, "No, I swear it's not," he said, "I wanted to make you a little paradise so you could relax. I won't even be in the bathroom, I was going to grab my guitar and play some music for you." Jennie eyed Scott suspiciously. "Jennie," Scott said, "I know I betrayed your trust by what I did. That was the worst thing I could ever do. I know it will take you a long time to forgive me, that is if you decide to forgive me. But I just want to do everything I can to prove to you that I love you." Jennie thought for a minute, then nodded slightly, "All right, Scott," she said, "But if you ever get sexual, I swear to God, I will leave you forever." Scott nodded, "OK, now you make yourself cozy, and I'll go grab my guitar," he said. Scott kissed Jennie's forehead and walked to his room. Jennie felt weird. It had been so long since Scott had kissed her without shoving his tongue down her mouth. "Something's wrong," she thought to herself, "People don't change that fast overnight." Scott pulled his acoustic guitar out of its case. He opened it and hung his head, "Jennie's not going to forgive you," he thought to himself. "You've hurt her too much, and she's not going to forget it. She probably thinks I'm up to something." With a sad sigh, Scott pulled his guitar out of it's case and walked to the bathroom. He took a seat on the toilet near the jacuzzi and played some slow jazz. After a while, he started playing and singing. He played through all the songs he knew that said "I'm sorry, please forgive me". Jennie tried not to show it on her face, but she felt the walls around her heart fall. She felt like she was slowly starting to forgive Scott. She looked up at Scott. There was a tear line going down his eye as he sang. "He really means it!" she thought to herself. She began to cry quietly. Scott stopped playing, "Are you all right?" he asked, his voice a little weak, trying to hold back his tears. "Scott," Jennie whispered in an also weak voice, "I love you." Scott knelt next to her and kissed her. To Jennie's amazement, he wasn't trying to shove his tongue down her throat. He was kissing her with love and passion, stroking her cheek and wet hair. For the first time in a long time, she felt warm in Scott's arms.

Jason and Monica were sitting in their honeymoon hotel room. They had gone to Alaska for their honeymoon. Monica loved winter and the snow. Jason looked out the window at the dashing beauty of Alaska's mountains. He looked over at Monica. She was sitting on her chair by the fireplace, reading a book. Smiling, Jason crept into the bedroom, and crept out a few minutes later. He snuck up behind Monica and put his arms around her. She turned around and kissed him. They stood up, kissing, and Jason led her to the bedroom. Monica looked at the bed and gasped. Jason had laid out red rose petals all around the bed, and white petals in the shape of a heart with her name written in the middle. "Awww, Jason," Monica said, "That is so sweet." Jason smiled, kissed her, and they fell on the bed, petals flying in the air and raining down on them. All the cold winds of Alaska seemed to die down. The Aurora lights seemed brighter than usual. And the distance was no longer so dark. For the next week, Jason and Monica spent their time hiking in the mountains, snowboarding, taking pictures in the woods, and watching the Aurora lights at night. It was a heart breaker to return home. A few days after they returned, Monica pulled Jason aside with some news. They sat down in the living room. Monica looked tense and scared. "Jason," she whispered, "There's something I have to tell you." Jason moved in closer, "Is something wrong?" he asked. "No, not really," she said. She took a deep breath in and sighed. She looked up at Jason and smiled gently, "I'm pregnant." A bright smile crossed Jason's lips, "Really?!" he asked. Smiling wide, Monica nodded. Jason chuckled, "That's great! We're going to have a baby!" He hugged Monica close and kissed her neck, "Oh my God, this is wonderful," he said, dazed, "I love you." Monica smiled and dug her face closer into his chest, "I love you, too," she said. Jason closed his eyes and smiled, everything was illuminated. Everything was wonderful. Everything was perfect.
