Chapter 30

                         Sophie stared at her mother. “What do you mean we’re moving?” She asked dumbly.

Sophie’s mother got up and hugged Sophie. “I’m sorry, honey … especially since things are working out between you and Logan now…”

Sophie stared at the wall in front of her, showing no response.

“This can’t be happening,” She whispered as tears threatened to flood out.

Anger replaced sorrow as she screamed,

“First Austin left me, and now I’m going to leave Logan?! What the hell is wrong with you people? Why can’t you just let us be? What I just went through, do you think it’s for nothing? Is that it? I wanted Logan and I got him. I had a price to pay, and that was Austin. Are you going to make me lose the one thing I have left?”

Sophie glared at her mother. “I’m so sorry… but it’s finalized. We have the house and everything… there’s nothing I can do,” Her mother replied whispering, and near a breakdown.

“Oh right. Like you’d actually WANT to do something anyways,” Sophie answered back coldly.

Sophie’s mother looked hurt and speechless. She turned around and walked out of the room, shutting the door quietly behind her.

NO, GODDAMNIT, THIS WASN’T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN, Sophie screamed inside her mind as she hurled the glass rose standing on her table against the wall.

After hearing it break into several pieces, she only heard her heart beat, rapidly.

And she only had one question on her mind.

How the hell am I going to tell Logan?
