By the time Jamie had arrived that morning Nici had already worked herself into a state of total confusion. "God what am I gonna do?" I broke his trust...god he's gonna hate me! Grrrrrr!" Nici screamed pulling at her hair. "Jamie what am I gonna do?" "First your going to sit down and relax. Second your going to tell me who this Jason person is. Then your going to tell me what happened. After that your going to go with me to get some ice cream, a girls best friend you know." Nici laughed and wiped her eyes. "And finally after all that your going to listen to what I have to say and your going to do exactly what I say ok?" Nici nodded. "Your the best!" She screamed hugging her. "Uh huh I know so tell me already."
*A few very long hours later.*
"The worst part is I liked it and I don't know what to do now because I like Jason but you know..." Jamie snickered her blue eyes narrowing as she did. "You know just as I was heading out the door Jermy called me." she sighed. "Girl, he's just as confused as you are. He's worried he's gonna lose his best friend and he didn't want me to tell you this before but-" "Please don't I can't...I-i can't do this right now. Everything was just starting to work its self out and now..." she swallowed back the tears, "Now its getting bad all over again...I can't...I just can't whatever it is I can't hear it after what happened last night. sI have too much to deal with already." Jamie could see the tears forming as Nici spoke. "I know I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought it up. Oh uh B.T.W. your ice cream is melting and its about to fall in your lap." Nici looked at her cone. "Crap!" Jamie rushed off to get napkins as Nici tried to stop the rushing drops from falling in her lap. Nici laughed as Jamie rush back with the white sheets and nearly fell slipping in a childs newly dropped scop. "On a ligher note." Jamie laughed. "Yeah." "Girl just talk to him." Jamie said trying to get the breathing to return to normal. "With one?" "Both tell Jason about last night and just talk to Jermy he thinks your going to disown him." Nici took a deep breath and exhaled sharply "I thought you might say that."
Later at Nici's house
Nici had called Jason and now she waited nervously trying to think of how she was going to tell him. "Jason I...no." she sighed hitting her head against the wall. "You need to stop doing that your gonna get brain damage one of these days and forget me." Jason joked. "Oh hi..." Nici spoke trying to sound happy and forcing a smile. "What's wrong? The last time I saw you like this Chealse was forcing you to go no that date with me." "I have something to tell you." Nici said after getting up, fiddling with Jason's high school ring that sat around her middle finger. "Your breaking up with me aren't you?" Jason asked his face droping and color draining. "No, but after you hear what I have to say you prob will." "Well what is it?" He asked getting very confused. "Last night...I-i kissed Jermy and I know your gonna hate me forever for it so go head and yell at me and end it quickly please." she spit out so quick he barely hear it. Jason relaxed the tensed suddenly. "I'm gonna kill him!" Jason spun quickly heading to the door. "No you aren't!" she exclaimed running to him and grabbing his arm. "I kissed him back ok, I'm sorry, but I did and I'm not going to let you hurt him because I made a mistake." Jason closed his eyes and breath deeply relaxing his hands. The picure of them together not leaving his mind. "I just...the thought of him...It wont-" Nici pulled him in to a kiss and relaxing more he fell into it forgeting the how thing and savoring the felling. When Nici pulled back he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him. "I'm so sorry." she whispered crying into his shoulder. He kissed her head and then whispered, "Everyone makes mistakes but what really matters is if they can admit it and ask forgiveness or if they just try to hide it. Most hide it but you didn't and thats why I love you. Your not like most; you in a class of your own." Jason pushed head head up gently, wiped the tears from her eyes, and kissed her. "I'm sorry I reacted like I did." he whispered. "Forgive me?" he ask looking in to her eyes and she smiled "Of course!" she yelled and she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

Later as Jason walked home rethinking what had happened just hours ago he ran right into someone. Looking up starting to mumble sorry Jason stopped. In front of him was Jermy who had also stopped mid sorry. "Get out of my way scum." Jason spoke in pure anger. "She told you." Jermy said quietly almost to himself. "Yes, she did and if you know what's good for you, you'll never do that again. Nici's my girl and its just because she's know you longer that you on the ground right now. If you ever even think of doing that to her again you will wish you were never born." Jermy looked at him for a moment expecting him to back his words up. "I'm not going to hit you...this time because she asked me not too. Next time though it wont matter what anyone says you hear." Jermy nodded as Jason continued on his way fist clenched. 'Clearly it took a lot of self control not to hit me.' Jermy thought, 'he oviously has a temper. A temper' Jermy decided 'I don't want to test.'
