I was at work, doing my usual bullshit routine, and hoping like hell the day would be over soon. That's when I realized something was seriously wrong with me, and most of the worlds population for that matter.
Have you ever stopped to think that if you are unhappy with the life you are living and the job you are doing, that all you have to do to fix this is to switch things up and do something else? Easier said than done, I know, but isn't life to short to live each day waiting for the next one to begin? I, for one, am tired of making excuses, and if you have any to offer on the subject, don't bother because I'm sure I will tell you to take your logic and shove it. My life is worth more to me than financial security, and perhaps it is past time to take a few chances.
The world won't wait for you to decide you're ready, or secure enough in the bank, to chase your dreams, nor will it mourn when it has passed you by. The only difference between those who do great things and the ones that witness these events from the crowd is fear. And it is this fear inside, or lack thereof, that will determine the outcome of your hopes and dreams. There are no great people, only people who are not afraid to put everything on the line to achieve their goals. In short, the longer you spend at that job you hate, telling yourself it's only temporary, the harder it will become to remove yourself from this "temporary" lifestyle.
If anything in this world is worth fighting for, it is the hopes and dreams that have brought to us so many wonderful creations, art, technology, etc., without which this world would not be the same. What if, for instance, Thomas Edison had settled for mediocrity instead of putting his great mind to work at bringing us electricity as we now know it, or if Leonardo De Vince had settled for a normal, more practical lifestyle? As far fetched as it may seem, you could change the world by doing what you love to do... or in the same sense you may forever deprive it of the things you kept hidden inside.
In closing I will ofer this; do not simply dream big. Instead, take those dreams, ideas, and aspirations and move forward with them. The path to greatness will not be easy. There will be times when you want to forget it and return to a clearer, more "logical" way of life, but at these times may I suggest you ask yourself this- "When I am old, looking back upon my life, did I fail because I wasn't good enough, or because I was too afraid to carry on?" If you feel your answer would be that you aren't good enough, then perhaps you should settle for less. But if in that moment you feel something inside you ignite, then it is only a matter of time before the world is yours.

(and holy shiznits that sounded hippie like. haha)
But VERY good. Defiantly worth the read :D
