Romantic Death

The school day seemed like it would never come to an end. At 2:45 Desiree ad everyone else at East Sky College were becoming antsy, waiting for the bell to ring. When it was seconds before the bell there were people getting ready to bolt out of the classrooms, eager to get their attire on for the big night.

Yasmin, Vanessa and Desiree were all getting their stuff from their dorm rooms. Then they were going to get ready at Rob's house. Little did Desiree know, Rob had invited Zach, who she currently had a major crush on and David, who she had just broke up with 3 days ago. When the girls arrived at Rob's they let themselves in like he had told them to do, and walked down to the rec room. When Desiree saw Zach she thought her heart was going to pound out of her chest. She ran over to him and started a conversation up with him right away. She had a pretty good idea that he liked her and that tonight would be the night he asked her out. After Yasmin and Vanessa dragged her away from Zach they got ready in Rob's room. When everyone was almost finished getting ready David walked in apologizing for being late. Right at that moment Desiree knew that she had to stay as far away from him as possible. When they were loading up the cars the girls said they could take one more person in their vehicle. Desiree, so hoping David wouldn't volunteer, nonchalantly asked Zach if he would mind riding with all girls. He got the hint and said that he'd be honored to do so. When David saw Desiree get in the back seat with Zach he knew he had to do something about this.

At the party, everyone was having a fantastic time, except David. Desiree had seen that David was watching her all night so she decided to give him a show. She danced with Zach every song and made sure she held his hand when they walked somewhere. She even went to the point of giving him a kiss on the cheek before she left to go to the bathroom. David saw an oppurtunuity to talk to Desiree alone so he made his way to the back hallway where the bathrooms were located. He opened the girls' door and asked if there was anyone in there. When he got no reply he walked in, locked the door, and waited till Desiree came out of the stall.

Desiree knew David would follow her into the bathroom so she acted like she was going to the bathroom but actually she walked into the kitchen, which was right next to the bathrooms, and watched David walk into the girls' bathroom. Then she returned to Zach where they continued to dance very closely. After about 15 minutes Desiree noticed David walking back into the room and he didn't look thrilled. When she saw this she couldn't help but laugh.

After partying from six to one everyone was ready to hit the sack. Since it was so late Rob asked everyone if they just wanted to crash at his house and then they could hangout later when they woke up. Everyone agreed but David, he said he had to get home because at eight he had to watch his sister. When they got to Rob's house David left without saying bye to anyone, Desiree was pretty happy with what she had accomplished.

Rob said the girl's could sleep where ever they wanted to and that the boys would sleep down in the rec room. Everyone said goodnight, got ready for bed, and fell asleep. Around 3:30 Desiree thought she heard something down stairs, so she got up and walked down to the kitchen. When she saw nothing she got a drink of water and went back up the stairs and fell back to sleep. At 5:58 she woke with a start and saw that David was standing over her. She didn't know why he was here, he had gone home to sleep. When she was about to ask him why, he yanked her up out of bed and covered her mouth with his hand while dragging her with his other. He dragged her toward the steps, having no sympathy when he let go of her and pushed her down the back hallway steps.

When Yasmin and Vanessa woke up around noontime they noticed that Desiree wasn't in the room. So they went down stairs to the rec room and saw that the guys were playing video games. They asked if Desiree had left already and they said no, they thought she was still sleeping. When they realized that Desiree had not left, they started calling her name and searched for her all over the house. Zach thought he would try the back stair case, even though no one ever used it. He walked down a couple steps and then he saw her. Her head was smashed in from bashing off the steps. But the one thing Zach noticed besides all the blood was what was in her hand. In between her hands that were neatly placed together, was a single red rose.

This is my first story. I might make it into a longer thing. But as for now, its a short story. Tell me how it is and whether it sucks monkey butt or not. lol
