Chapter Eighteen

Kamran’s POV

I come back for the next two days, on the day she gets out im excited. I run to the hospital, through the lobby yell hi at the receptionist, Mrs.Laird, and continue running to her room. When I get there they are already allowing her to get ready so I have to wait outside in the hall. They bring her out and say she can go home. Then I walk her out to the car and she says randomly, "I’m hungry, we should go to MacDonald’s." I laugh and say, "Ok, just focus on getting in the car first. Then we go to MacDonald’s. Jalena orders a large everything. She orders a burger, large fries, large soda, and two deserts. She’s been craving for sure.

Four years later, Jalena still isn’t my wife but she will be soon. We live in a little apartment. Can’t afford a house till we get out of college. But I had enough money to go buy her an engagement ring. So I got home earlier then Jalena today so I set up a romantic dinner. When she gets home she is surprised to find the dinner. Although I do this for her sometimes anyway. She sat down and we began to talk and eat. I dropped the ring on the floor and asked, "Jalena, I dropped something, can you get it please?" "Yes." Then she bends down and see’s the ring. As soon as she sits back up I take the ring from her hand and kneel down on the floor. "Jalena Henderson will you marry me?" Jalena’s eyes are watering and she looks shocked. Then she says, "Yes!" And we stand up and hug and kiss. Now she looks overjoyed.

Three Months later

 Jalena's not home yet so i set up a romantic dinner. (Even though i usually do them anyway this one will be better) Then i hear the door open and close and Jalena come's into the kitchen. She smiles at the sight of the romantic dinner. About half way through the dinner I say  i dropped something and ask ,"Jalena will you pick that up for me please?" "Sure."  Then i hear a little gasp and she sits up with a ring in her hand. I drop down onto my knees and say, "Jalena Henderson will you marry me?" "Yes! Yes Kamran Ashcroft I will marry you!" |


Nine months later.

"Push Jalena Push" Then we hear a cry and jalena relaxs for the first time in about two hours. "Congratulations its a beautiful baby boy, what is his name?" "Justin Kamran Ashcroft." (I know the name sucks)  Jalena says after that. I smile because she named him after both me and my dad. I keep smiling and go into the lobby and tell them that Justin's been born.
