Chapter Thirteen

Jalena’s POV

I searched frantically around Kamran’s house. "Kamran?" I called out "Kamran??" I said a little more anxious. "KAMRAN?" I yelled out one more time, my voice giving away my fear. I called his cell phone. I heard it ring, but it was in his room still.

I dropped my phone. Kamran never goes anywhere, ANYWHERE with out his phone...Something wrong. I call Alan’s phone, "Hello?" "Hi Alan." "Hi Jalena." "Wheres Kamran." "I don’t know, maybe you should ask him, oh wait you cant im too busy with him. And if you even try to come save him it will bet too late." Then the line goes dead.

I rush out the door. Where would Alan go...Then it snaps in my head, the cabin out in the forest! He loves that old place. Then I get in kamran’s car and drive as fast as I can to the path that leads up to that cabin. I hear screaming coming from the cabin, even though I don’t see it. I start sprinting to the cabin. I stop outside. I grab the shotgun I keep in my purse, get it out and get it loaded and ready. I bust through the door shoot Alan and see Kam hanging from the ceiling, I get a stool and climb on it and untie the ropes holding Kam up. He drops on the floor. "Shoot!" I say as I jump of the stool and get down next to kamran to check for a pulse and to see if he’s breathing. Barley at all. I get my phone out and dial 911 "Hello 911, May I help you?" "Yea my friend has multiple stab wounds and he has a weak breath and weak pulse." "Ok, what is you location?" "Um a cabin out in the woods, drive on highway 45 until you see a Red Fusion, license plate kld-458, there should be a light path to follow." "Ok, we will have someone there as soon as possible." "Thank you." I try to stop kamrans bleeding, but it just wont stop. He’s losing blood too fast. Then the ambulance people come and carry kamran carefully but quickly to the ambulance. Then we all head to the hospital. I wait in the waiting room, then I remember I need to call kamrans dad and my parents. I call kamran’s dad first.

"Hello?" "Hi Mr.Ashcroft." "Hi Jalena, how are you?" "Um im not too good, you need to come to the hospital Mr.Ashcroft." He hesitates before asking, "why?" "Kamrans been stabbed multiple times, and I don’t know if he’s going to make it." I answer my voice shaking, since im on the verge of tears. "I’ll be there as soon as possible, just hang in there jal, im sure kamrans going to make it." "Ok.." I say my voice getting a little hoarse. Now my parents. "Hello Mrs.Henderson, how may I help you?" "Hi mom." "What’s wrong sweetie?" "Kamrans hurt. He’s in the hospital, I don’t think he’ll make it..." Then Mr.Ashcroft steps up behind me and while hugging me starts talking to my mom. Then he hangs up the phone. He then gives me a full hug. "It’s ok Jalena, Kamran’s got a strong and stubborn will, im sure he wont leave this world with out a great fight. Plus he loves you, im sure he wouldn’t want to leave you, or make you hurt any." Then he smiles at me and pulls me towards the chairs and we sit and wait till my parents get here and then my mom and me hug while I cry even more onto her expensive blouse. While my dad and Kam’s dad talk my mom says, "Come on sweetie, try to get some sleep im sure you exhausted." I nod but then say, "Mom I don’t know if Alans going to make it either..." "Why? What happened to Alan?" " I...I....shot him..."

My mom is silent for a while before saying, "Tell me the whole story starting from last night." So I tell her everything and by the time its over im crying again. "Honey, it will be alright." Then a doctor comes out and says, "Jalena Henderson?" I stand up and she comes over to me and says, "Well, Kamran’s chance of making it is good he only has a 7% chance of not making it. But Alan on the other hand is fading fast, he is conscious right now and asked to see you." "Do I have to be in there alone?" "No, he has 3 officers in there, if he does make it he will either be put in jail for 3 years for attempted murder, put in an insane asylum or both." I nod and follow the doctor to Alan’s room. My mom comes with me. I walk in and Alan’s eyes are extremely dark, the lighten up as soon as then see me but then darken again once he see’s my mother. "Hi Jalena." "Hello Alan."

Then Alan pulls out something, it’s a gun. He aims it at my mom, then I step in front of her, he smiles and says, "Exactly what I wanted you to do." Then everything goes black
