Chapter Twelve

Kamran’s POV

I woke up and it was dark, I tried to look around to see what time it was but I couldn’t even move. I struggled to move, "Jalena? Hello? Anyone there?" I yelled out. "Ouch!" Something sharp just stabbed my leg. I tried to move my arm down to my leg but it was tied above me and tied to something else. My legs were bound together as well. I wiggled around when again something stabbed me, but this time it was my back I screamed out in pain. I heard someone start laughing, laughter of enjoyment. There is only one person insane enough to do something like this.

"Alan. What are you doing?!" I yelled out into the darkness. All of a sudden a bright light came on. It was one of those lights like in the basement of those creepy movies. I squinted my eyes in pain. "Well, Kamran. I am doing what I told you I was going to do if you didn’t listen to me. Im going to kill you. Simple as that. Then I plan to burn your body so that no one can find out where or how you died. Or if you simply ran away. But im going to make it a slow painful death." Alan smirked at me after he said this. I knew that I was going to die today. It’s just one of those things you can tell is going to happen. "Alan, why are you doing this? Like I said before, you DON’T love Jalena, you are OBSESSED with her, you just want her as PROPERTY to show of to the world. Like she’s a little TROPHY when in reality she is an ACTUAL PERSON." I say slowly emphasizing certain words.

Alan’s eyes grew dark compared to their usual light green. They were now dark Indian green. SMACK! The side of my face burned. Then a sharp pain came quickly to my abs and legs. I looked down and I was bleeding. My stomach injury seemed to be bleeding a bit too much. It looked quite deep. Alan’s eyes were still Indian green.

Then again a deep sharp pain erupted through my body. This time in my chest. I was losing a lot of blood. Before I blacked out though, I had stayed awake long enough to see someone burst through the door, hear a gun shot and feel another sharp pain go through my body. Then everything went black
