Chapter Ten

Kamran’s POV

I woke up from what felt like an sleep that went on forever. My head was throbbing. In fact every where was throbbing and hurting. I think that we were in a car crash...im not sure. I open my eyes to a extremely bright room. Im in a hospital. Yup I was in a car crash because that’s the last thing I remember. "OH MY GOD! HE’S AWAKE!" I hear someone yell. "Jeez, stop yelling!" Then all of a sudden Jalena hugs me then my mom and her mom hug me. "Why is everyone surprised im awake?" "Well you didn’t wake up for like a month. They said that if you didn’t wake up in a month then you would only have a 23% chance of waking up ever..." Wow a month. I’m happy I woke up. I look at Jalena, she looks like she hasn’t slept in a month. "When can I leave the hospital?" "When ever the doctors say you can." I hear an annoying familiar voice reply. "Alan what are you doing here?" "Well I came to check in on Ja, then she dragged me here daily to see you." I look over at Jal. "You dragged him here to see me everyday?" She nods I smile and open my arms to give her a hug. I hug her and kiss the top of her head. A doctor comes in.

"Hello Kamran, I’m Dr.Juniper." "Hi Dr.Juniper, when can I leave?" "Hmm..probably about in 2 days." I just stare at her, I know that 2 days may not seem much but to me it seemed forever. I really wanted to get out of here and spend some alone time with Jal. "Ok.." The doctor leaves and so does everyone except Alan and Jalena. "Ja, can I speak to Kamran." Alan gives her the puppy dog eyes. She looks at him sucipsicously, then says, "Ok, but just 3 minutes." Then she leaves and Alan walks over to me. He puts his hands around my throat, but I easily throw him off. I yell "Jalena!" She comes rushing in. "Alan leave." Is all she says to him giving him a glare so scary it would make the strongest man in the world weak. She comes over to me and says, "What did he do Kam?" "Tried to choke me, but I could easily throw him off, I called you so he wouldn’t try it again." She looks at me then smiles and kiss’ me softly.

I finally got out of the hospital. When I got out Jal was sitting in the lobby waiting for me. I smiled and walked over to her. "Jal." I whispered softly. She jumped up and hugged me, then she kissed me. "So do you want to do anything today Jal?" She looks at me and smiles, She pulls me over to a path. We end up at the airport. Jalena gets two tickets for Colorado. I look at her and say, "Why are we going to Colorado Jal?" "The Rocky Mountains are there, duh!" I smile and we get on the plane. Of course since Jalena was pretty much rich, we got first class seats. When we got to Colorado, we took a bus up to Fort Morgan. We got some bikes and rode up to the mountains. We ditched the bikes at a lake. We stripped down to our undergarments, and dived in. I could feel jalena staring at me the whole time. I couldn’t help but look at her too, but I knew we couldn’t do anything any way. She had a really fit body, I knew she did sports, but I didn’t know how built her body was for a girl.

We swam for about an hour before some guy came up and said, " Hey! What are you kids doing here??" We just looked at each other before I answered, "Just swimming sir, is that okay?" "No it is not, you kids need to leave right now." "Ok ma’am, I mean sir." I heard Jal muffling her laughter. The man just glared at me. "We are leaving right now sir." I say as I grab Jal’s arm and pull her towards the shore. When we get to the bikes, I checked to make sure the guy was gone then started laughing. "Come on lets go downtown." Jalena says as we ride over to a bus stop, ditch the bikes and get on the bus.
