Chapter Two

Kamran’s POV

We pulled up the drive of Jalena’s house. It’s still raining pretty hard so we sprint up to her door. "Hurry Jal." I say laughing. "I’m trying, my fingers are freezing!" Jalena responds giggling. "Here let me see." I take the key and open the door. We walk inside and I just stand there by the door. "Come on Kam." "Ok I’m coming." We walk up to Jal’s room. I sat on her floor while she grabbed everything she needed for the week at my house. She’s beautiful I think to myself. I love how she has natural highlights. Her light brown hair with blonde streaks going through it. She has deep blue eyes and she has cream skin. I just want to hold her forever. I loved her but she didn’t love me back. I almost told her at the beach today, I cant believe that I almost did that! I would have ruined our friendship! I can never tell her I love her. Jalena was standing right in front of me saying, "Are you ready to head over to your house?" "Yea im ready." We jumped in my car and drove over to my house. When we went inside I headed up to my room to grab something dry to wear while Jal changed in the room across the hall.

Before long I heard a knock on my door, "come in." Jal walked in with a t-shirt and sweats on. I was in my boxers. She was staring at me I could tell she was trying not to. I smirked and put some sweats on. "K you ready to watch the movie?" "Huh? Oh yea im ready." "Alright pick a movie then." "Hmm..." "Hm..." I say imitating her. She looks over at me trying not to laugh then bursts out into laughter. She never could keep a straight face that long. I smile and start laughing too. She gets out a movie while she’s laughing and puts it in the dvd player. I lay on my bed and she lays on it next too me. I put my arm around her stomach. She doesn’t even push me away either. Hmm maybe she does like me somewhat or she thinks it’s a "friendly" gesture. Im happy she let me do this though. I wanna kiss her so bad! When the movie’s over I notice Jal is asleep, so I move to cover her with the blanket and go sleep on the couch in my room and as soon as I get up she wakes up. She smiles up at me "..where are you going?" "I was gonna go sleep on the couch." "No...stay on the bed with me, I was comfortable." "Ok ill stay on the bed with you." So I climb back onto the bed and get back into the position we were at during the movie. Soon we both fell asleep. When I woke up Jal was still asleep. I smile and gently get up and go downstairs to the kitchen to make Jal’s favorite breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes. The second I finish the pancakes, Jal comes downstairs rubbing sleep from her eyes. She smiles at me the notices that I made pancakes and she smiles even wider. "Morning Kam-Kam." "Morning Jal. How did you sleep last night?" "Wonderful, especially with you there." Jal smiles as she says this. "How did you sleep kam?" "Excellent with you there." I smile back at her I can tell now that she at least likes me a little more than a friend. We eat breakfast then watch some tv. "So Jal what do you wanna do today?" "I have no idea, what do you feel like doing?" "Hmm...well we got a few options." "A. We can watch tv and waste away, B. we can swim again. C. we can go to an amusement park. Or D. Road trip" "I think we should....go to the amusement park.
