Kaylee had basically gotten over Ethan's death. Occassionally somebody would bring something up and she would cry. Noah and Kaylee continued to spend time together. He was still staying over at Kaylee's house at least once a week. Sometimes Kaylee would stay over there at his apartment. Noah's parents lived in London so he always had the apartment to himself.
"Kaylee!!! Wait for me!!" Noah ran down the hall yelling in his weird dramatic voice. She laughed and smiled widely, then opened up her locker. "You want to come over this afternoon? We can order pizza, watch a movie, you can stay the night. It would be like old times. I need a break from all this school work anyway."
"Okay, Only if you help me study for my history exam"
"Of course miss" He used a fake french accent.
"Well you could make yourself of some assistance and hlep me get my book bag situated." Kaylee laughed. Noah got out her history notebook and the huge text book and placed them carefully in the bookbag.
"Happy?" Noah asked
"Why yes I am. Thank you" It was now May and they were about to graduate from high school. Everyone was excited. Kaylee was just worried that she and Noah wouldn't get into the same college. She hated when Noah and her were really far apart for a long amount of time. The girls were starting to wear tank tops and really short skirts or shorts while the boys wore muscle shirts and shorts. The only exception of the boys was Noah. He wore short sleeved shirts but still wore Jeans. He hated showing off his legs. Kaylee straightened out her mini skirt and fixed her pink shirt. The shirt had an Electric Guitar with little skulls and hearts around it. All this time with Noah, Kaylee's personality had really changed. Everyday Noah took her to school and they listened to My Chemical Romance or Three Days Grace. Kaylee also had been afraid to drive lately. Ever since well Ethan's death mainly Noah drove her to and from school. She was afraid that something would happen.
She closed her locker and they walked to his car. She put her bookbag and her purse into the backseat and Kaylee got in the front seat of the car.
"For graduation you are getting a new car. During college you need to have a good enough car for all the rocker goth chicks that you are going to be pinking up at the bars." Kaylee laughed
"Haha, Very funny. " Kaylee looked at him and this was the first time in a while she had actually seen how much he had changed. HIs face still had a baby texture except for where he shaved a little underneath his chin and his face had squared out. His muscles were a lot bigger now too. He wasn't maucho man but they were nicely formed. He could definately protect someone
"Whatcha lookin' at?" He asked with a smirk on his face
"Oh, Nothing" she blushed. Noah smiled knowing exactly what she was looking at. He finally knew, somewhere deep in his heart, that he had a chance with her. And now was the time to ask

"Stop by my house. I need to get some bed clothes and morning clothes"
"Why?"
"Aren't I staying at your house tonight?" Kaylee asked
"Oh yeah, I forgot. Haha. Stupid short term memory loss" He drove to Kaylee's 2 story house and drove in the driveway. She got out her keys for the house but her mom opened the door.
"Hey Honey" Her mom Greeted
"Hey Mom"
"Good afternoon Mrs. Haydenson"
"Hello Noah, Are you staying the night tonight?"
"No, probably Kaylee will stay over at my house"
"Oh, Thats fine. Well come on in here"
"Noah wait down here okay. I'm going to go get some of my things" Kaylee told him then sprinted up the stairs. She got out a pink and black polkadotted bag and some clothes.
"If you do anything to my daughter and I'll kill you" Her father threatened Noah when he walked in from the Kitchen.
"She's my best friend, Do you actaully think that I would hurt her? She is just coming over to study, We'll order pizza or something and watch a movie. Nothing will happen. I've known her since pre-school"
"I know Noah, but she is really fragile"
"I know, I've been attached to her since Ethan's Death"
Upstairs Kaylee was getting her stuff together when Hope came in Butt Naked
"He's going to give me a bath!! Save me Auntie!!" Hope screamed and Kaylee laughed and picked her up.
"Thank you kaylee" Zack came in out of breath
"Welcome bro" She handed him the small girl
"Twaitor" Hope said in a mad voice and Zack walked back into the bathroom area where he was giving the bath. Kaylee packed 2 tanktops. They fit very nicely on her slim frame. A lime green one to wear to bed that night and a Teal Blue one. IN went a pair of grey shorts and a white mini-skirt. She put in her brush, a few ponytail holders and her bag of makeup. Before she left she put in Final Destination 2 and Titanic in her bag. She grabbed her stuffed animal bear named baby bear and walked downstairs.
"Okay Noah! I'm ready!" She ran down the steps
"Okay lets go"
"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!' I'll cya when I get home tomorrow. I love you"
She shut the door and they ran to the car. Before her mom and dad came out to check on them.
"You know what you dad said?" Noah asked once they got on the road
"No what?" Her parents were extremely protective
"Your dad said that if anything happened to you, he was going to shoot me and I really dont' want to be killed by your father Kaylee"
"Damn, He'll do anything wont he?"
