Brooke Natalie Marandon was a straight A student with a good life ahead of her. Her father a preacher and mother a christian private school teacher, she was very big into her religion. Her juinor year and everything was going right. Her big sister, Emmeline "Emmie", had just been accepted for Yale University, and younger brother Jacob, was excelling in all of his work. Brooke had everything she had ever wanted, except one thing, a real relationship. Her father and her mother had been together ever since they were 14, of course staying chaste until marriage. She had never been kissed, well she was kissed on her cheek in the 5th grade. She was a beautiful girl with her curly brown hair and beautiful green eyes, and she got a lot of oppertunities with guys, and girls, but she turned them down because of her parents. Her parents shunned down on interracial marriages and absolutely hated people who trusted gay/lesbian marriages. Brooke was different from all of them. She supported gay and interracial marriages. I mean they are just people too aren't they?
Jerome Parker Brown was black, and people they thought badly of him because of what his father had become. He was also in his juinor year and nothing was going right. His mother died giving birth to him and his father was a complete drunk, every night he was beaten and blamed for what happened to his mother.. Jerome had 12 brothers and sisters, from his stepmom and he had to take care of them all. His mother and father spent all of their money on booze and partyed all of the time. Jerome was trying to get enough money just so he could go to at least the community college, at least! Yeah, he stole so he could get money, but can you really blame him. Look at who his parents are? None of his parents even finished high-school. His birth mother was the only one who actually had an education. She was a doctor before she became pregnant with Jerome. He is the oldest out of all of his brothers and sisters and his step-mom is pregnant yet again. He did all that he could so he could get a good educatation. But that never worked did it? He fell asleep in school because all he heard at night was his mother giving it to his father. But if he reported it, he was dead
In one day these two teenagers lives will come together. Is it love or is it just like all of Jeromes other girlfirends. They get what they want and then just abandon him
