Cark Ray the meeting part 3

Science Created on 1-16-08 Views(28) Story Rating G

Steve was swimming along and playing with the stingrays. He was worried about his crew because they got the radioes working again and there was no answer from the boat. After a few hours they were done filming and radioed for another boat to come out to get them. They swam over to a sand bar to rest for a little while.while they were sitting there Steve noticed a quick shadow moving in the water. It was unlike anything he had seen before. Or was it? But he had his crew grab their equipment and jump back into the abyss. He was going to capture this creature on film and expose it to the world.

They were in the water looking all over for the creature and it was moving so fast that they couldn't move the cameras quickly enough to see it. Steve caught a glimse of the creature and the one eye that it had and remembered what had happened all those many years ago. As he sat there in the water like a sitting duck he knew this was his last dance.

Steves daughter was on shore and was picked up by the boat going to get Steve and find Steve's crew. She loved the ocean and couldnt wait to see her daddy again. She was soo happy riding te boat as it shot up and down on the waves. Everytime it would go down her stomach would flutter and shed giggle. little did she know that this would be the last time she would see her father alive.

Since Steve had dealt with the monstrosity before he got his knife out right away because he knew there was going to be an attack. Cark ray circles him again and again, sniffing at the blood still wet on his leg. Hungering for his meal to finally come.

Steve was sitting there in the water and instructed his crew to get out and back onto the sandbar. They did so reluctantly. When they were out of harms way Steve dove underwater and looked for the creature. He didnt see anything in the water. It seemed as though all of the rays scattered when cark ray showed up.

When out of nowhere cark ray shot straight up from the darkness and snapped at Steve just barely missing him. Cark ray dissapeared back into the darkness and Steve was a sitting duck yet again. He surfaced for air and went back under after a breath, this time he dove deeper.

Steves crew was on the sandbar worried but listened to what their friend had instructed them to do, although they did have the cameras and harpoon guns ready just incase they were needed.

As Steve dove deeper and deeper searching for his foe he noticed some round objects on the deep enbankment walls. He ignored these and kept swimming downward. As he swam farther he noticed how much darker and colder it was getting, yet still no sign of cark ray.

All of a sudden Steve felt himself being dragged through the water at extremely high speeds, Then he stopped but cringed from a pain so horrible words cannot explain them. It felt like his body was going to errupt with pain, and then, nothing. He was just lying there in the water and felt no pain at all. Could this be death? what was he going to do? was the monster going to attack again? All these questions and thousands more were wizzing through his head all at once.He realized that he needed to go up for air soon, as he rose he saw cark ray staring straight at him as if it were a child playing with its food. Steve rose faster for he would soon pass out.

His crew was staring at the water. "Steve’s been down there a long time, D'you think hes ok?" said one. "Of course he’s ok, he's Steve Irwin!" said the other. They saw bubbles in the water and got the guns ready. When Steve came up they sighed a sigh of relief. But just as they stopped worrying Steve was ripped back down into the abyss.

Steve was being thrashed about in the water and saw nothing but blood and then darkness.

It had seemed that Steve passed out and when he came to he was floating in the water. He looked around dazed and saw no land around him at all. He got himself to the point where he could tred on the water. The creature must have dragged him out to sea so it could finish what it had started.

Steve looked under the water to see what might be around him as he did he saw his predator watching him waiting for him to make a move. Steve thought to himself that this must have been a very intelligent creature for it to drag him far enough away so that he would get too tired and drown if he swam back to shore.

The boat arrives and picks up the film crew and sped off to find Steve.

Steve starts to try and swim away and sees his killer start to swim up right behind him. He screams in terror as the monster scrapes by his stomach and Steve sees more blood in the water. The creature bears heading head-on towards our hero and he knows that he needs to brace himself. He heads towards the coral reef not too far away and breaks off a piece of coral. As the creature heads closer and closer Steve knows its either going to be him or the monster, only one can come out of this alive. The monster bears forwards gaining speed with every stroke of its mighty tail. Our hero grasps the coral tightly so he is certain not to miss a vital chance at saving his own life. He pushes off of the reef toward the monster just as it is in reach and he jabs the rock deep into the monsters stomach. Cark ray shrieks in pain and starts to thrash about and swims off.

Steve thinks he’s won but oh is he wrong.

Cark ray comes back for one last strike and stabs our hero with its razor sharp poison barb on its tail right through his heart, And rips it right back out.

Cark ray may be injured but it has suffered much worse that what it has just endured. It heads back to its cave for some much needed rest and healing.

The boat was just 100 yards away when Steve was killed his daughter and the crew witnessed the whole tragic death of this much admired man.

This was a story kept from the general public from the government in an order to discover what this strange creature of the deep may have been caused from. There have been no further documentations of cark ray coming out except in fish tales where men have gone out and never been found again. As far as we know cark ray may be dead, but none know when he may surface again…
