Deserving Loving part 2

"Come on Clauds!! It'll be fun! You'll meet new people, make new friends..."

"Um... I'm not sure..."

"Claudia... Why not, you used to love meeting new people!"

"Used to. No-one wants to be my friend, and you know that."

"I do...."

"..."

"I'll pick you up in half, ok?"

"Ok"

The scenery passed by quickly as Claudia sat in Debbie's car.

"Come on Claudia, cheer up! It wont be that bad, everyone will love you!" Debbie said, taking her eyes off the road for a second to look Claudia in the eye, "And aren't you hot?"

Claudia turned her head even more, "No... But now everyone will think I'm a loser for wearing this. Take me home please."

Debbie put her hand on the girl's shoulder, "Don't worry, you look nice." She gave her a smile. "Fucking... Move, goddamnit!"

"Calm down..." Claudia said softly.

Debbie violently swung the car out and around the car when she was sure no-one was in the way. "Yea, calm down..."

They were silent for the rest of the trip to the threatre.

The car came to a stop and Debbie turned to Claudia, putting her hand on her shoulder. "Come on... I'm be with you, I wont leave you stranded. Unless you don't socialise."

Claudia's eyes widened with fear.

"I'm just joking, silly." She said, undoing her seatbelt and got out of the car.

Claudia remained seatbelted in the car until Debbie went to physically pull her out. "Get out!!! Hurry, my friends are waiting! Stop being so childish and stupid!"

She finally got out and followed her friend closely, but when of a large crowd of people came into site, Claudia clung to back of Debbie's dress.

"Hey guys," Debbie almost yelled while flinging herself upon a few of the people.

"Hey Debs," Two of them said, "How's it goin?"

"Not too bad... Oh, guys, this is Claudia." Debbie said, grabbing Claudia's arm and dragging her forward.

Everyone warmly greeted and introduced themselves before heading in to watch the movie.

"Hey Claudia, you look a little nervous..." Said one of the guys.

Claudia looked at him, keeping her arms across her waist. "Heh, yea, just a little."

He smiled and patted her on the back, "Don't worry, we  may be loud, but we certainly don't bite!"

"I figured," She said, half heartedly smiling. "Dave, right?"

"Yea, good memory!" He said, "Come sit next to me, I'll keep you company."

"Thanks for dragging me out." Claudia said as they drove back home.

"No probs, anything to get you to be more confident!" Debbie said.

As they pulled up infront of the house, Debbie grinned at her.

"What? You wanna stay the night again?" She asked.

"Well, that too... But there's something else," Debbie began, "But we can discuss it when we go to bed."

"You know, there's gonna be a time when we can't accomodate you. Though for now, it's lucky I have a spare bad in my room." Claudia replied, getting out of the car, "Come on..."

"God, I'm so tired..." Claudia yawned, getting into her bed.

Debbie sat infront of her, "You're not gettin out of it that easily!"

A confused look crossed Claudia's face, "What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean!"

"Oh, you wanted to discuss something..."

Her friend giggled, "Don't pretend you don't know... I saw you with Dave!"

Her face turned red. "What about him?"

"You like him!"

"Well," Claudia stuttered, "He's a nice guy... He said he didn't want to leave me alone."

"I'm not just talking about you two hanging off eachother, but the way you looked at him!! Dude, it was so obvious to us that you'd fallen for him." Debbie said with a huge grin on her face.

Claudia laid back, "Maybe... But still..."

Debbie leaned closer, "What if he liked you too?"

"Impossible!" Claudia said a little too loud. "I mean... I doubt it. And even if he did, I don't think I could go into another relationship. I'm don't want to be hurt again."

"Listen, you can't go through life staying away from relationships just because you've had a really bad run. A nice guy will come along, like Dave." She said, giving Claudia a hug.

"Perhaps..." Claudia said, returning the hug before she turned over and tried to sleep.

Debbie climbed into the spare bed, "Night."

"Night..."

When she was sure Debbie was asleep, Claudia reached to her bed side table and pulled her bag over. She searched through and found her camera. She turned it on and looked at the picture she and Dave had taken.

'Could he possibly like me?'
